ALL: Come and play with us.
# And we'll have a Abadaba shoo-bee-dee-wa
# Abadaba, play today
# Abadaba shoo-bee-dee-wa
# Abadaba play today
# Play today. #
What are you waiting for?
I wonder where they're playing today? They're in the garden.
# La, la, la, la, la, la, la
-What are you doing?
-We're making a special song for Hari.
-Because he's our best friend.
-Oh, that's nice.
-La, la, la, la, la.
Oh, Hari's coming. Please don't tell him yet! It's a surprise.
-What was all that noise?
Erm, we are playing a game.
What kind of game?
We're pretending that we're playing music in a band.
That's fun! Can I play too, please?
-Erm, all right.
-Yeah! La, la, la, la.
That's a good song for our band.
What Ela is saying is we can play another game first.
It's your favourite!
ALL: It's the word game. Come and play with us.
# You opened up a book and found us three
# It's time to play the word game, you and me,
# Listen to the words then spot and see
# Match the words and objects, help us see
# Let's play. #
Ready? I've got a brand new Abada word.
You have to guess what it looks like.
-The word is, microphone.
That's a long word! I wonder what it looks like?
Would you like a clue?
ALL: Yes, please!
A microphone makes your voice sound louder.
Wow! Can you hear me?
-Can we have another clue please, Ben?
-You can sing into a microphone.
I love singing and dancing.
-Where do you think you'd find a microphone?
-In the garden?
I love singing and dancing there.
You like singing and dancing.
In the mountains? My voice always sounds louder there.
-I know! We keep our music toys in the house.
-Could it be there?
-Well done, Ela.
ALL: Yeah! Go, go, Abadas.
The Abadas think they'll find the microphone in the house
but which Abada would be the best one to find the microphone?
# My name is Seren, I can fly up high
# Past the trees and towards the sky
# I hang topsy-turvy in the night and day
# Fly right down when it's time to play
# My name is Hari I like to swim
# I dive down deep, I see everything
# That lives in the seabed on the shore
# Swimming and playing is what I adore
# My name is Ela with a special nose
# Where it will lead me nobody knows
# I can smell all the things that you can't always see
# I love my nose, it's a part of me.
Ela, Ela, yes, you love singing and dancing.
# La, la, la, la, la.
LAUGHTER Good choice, Abadas.
Ela, who loves singing, would be the best Abada to find the microphone.
I'm on my way! We-hey!
Ela, I can see you!
Listen to my voice! It's much louder in here.
# My name is Ela with a special nose. #
You're right, your voice is louder.
When I sing through my paws, my voice sounds louder.
-But they are not a microphone, are they?
-No, of course not!
They're my paws. Paws away!
Wow! What's that?
What a lovely noise!
Hey, the noise is louder this time!
Can you sing into it?
No, this can't be the microphone.
You're right, Ela. It's a musical instrument called a harp.
Now, it's time to find the microphone.
What's that? It looks like an ice cream cone.
I wonder if it tastes nice?
Yuk! Yuk! Yuk! Hey, a switch! Am I allowed to switch it on, Ben?
Yes, you are.
Try talking into it.
Oh! Hey, when I talk into this, my voice is louder.
This must be the microphone.
-Well done, Ela!
# I found the word, it was there all along
# The word is microphone
# And now that word is in my song
# Ba-bab-shoo-bee-doo-ah! #
Beeb-beeb-beeb-beeb! Can't catch me.
Maybe you'll catch me next time. I'm back in the book.
-There you are, Ela.
-What a furrtastic adventure.
-Tell us about it, please.
-I went into the bathroom.
My voice always sounds louder there. Fairy foxtales!
-Then, what happened?
-I saw an instrument called a harp.
You pull the strings and it makes very soft music.
You like soft music, Hari.
I do! Dum-dee-dum-dee-dum!
# La, la, la, la, la, la, la. #
But the harp didn't make my voice louder!
Then, I found a funny looking stick, like an ice cream cornet.
-Did you try to eat it?
-Yes, it tasted yucky!
But then I found a switch, like this one!
And when I switched it on,
it made my voice sound very, very loud!
ALL: It's a microphone.
I think it's time for our surprise.
Eh? Where have they gone?
Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm and cheery welcome
to our favourite band, Serenela!
# Hari, you're a hippo with a belly that's blue
# We love you
# La, la, la, la, la. #
Well done, Ela. You really are amazing Abadas.
It's time to go. We had fun today, didn't we?
ALL: Oh, yes, we did!
# It's time to say goodbye, it was great to play
# Come back and see us once again some day
# Some day. #
-Bye-bye! See you soon.
