Welcome back to Alesha's Street Dance Stars,

my quest to find Britain's best young street dance crew.

We've travelled the UK and have invited the best of the best.

The standard was breathtaking but in this studio, on this stage,

only the strongest acts will survive.

This is round two of the qualifiers.

'Hundreds of crews applied. 24 made it to the qualifiers.

'Today, eight will perform.

'With five places in the next round, they've got to go big

'or they'll be going home.

'Only one crew will be crowned Alesha's Street Dance Stars 2011.'

The stage is set. The crews are psyched.

All we need now are some street dance experts.

I'm Turbo, international street dance star.

I've worked with artists such as Madonna, Will Smith,

Whitney Houston and Jamelia.

Without street dance, there's no Turbo. Just like that.

I'm Kenrick H20 Sandy, choreographer and pioneer of UK street dance.

Famous people I've worked with?

Mis-Teeq, Sugababes, Leona Lewis,

Fergie off Black Eyed Peas, Peter Andre, Plan B.

Technique is very important,

It's the difference between someone who's very good

and someone who's OK.

I'm Lizzie Gough, a choreographer and professional dancer.

I've performed with Take That, Dancing On Ice,

a hip-hop show called Blaze.

Choreography's very important in street dance.

There are techniques. I just like to see fresh ideas.

'Alesha will be backstage to fire up our crews before they perform.

The thing for me is you need to work on your posture.

You're very upright. You need to get a bit more funky.

Be careful not to throw away your points. I saw a lot of this.

Well, just a few months, but we get as much practice as possible.

so much understanding of flava and groove.

Both groups, I can look and say,

as messy as each other, probably?

It's an overall performance, I think.

Definitely. Both really creative.

These guys were more innovative. And daring.

We have an on-going nervous feeling. We don't know the results.

They had parts in there that made me cry with laughter.

We've got a good chance.

I don't think they're one of the strongest.

-I think they need to get their foundations more.

-Yeah.

This has brought us together as friends. We're almost like family.

So, the three that we're not going to keep, we need to decide now.

We're nervous because we've got this far. We want to try our best.

We haven't been together long but we get as much practice as possible.

We've been doing GCSEs and practices lately. It's hard balancing the two.

We had some good feedback, positive.
