This is Alesha's Street Dance Stars!

Our mission, to find Britain's best young street dancers.

THEY CHEER

Only 24 crews have made it this far,

and will perform in front of our judges.

Last time, Superkidz swooped in at number one,

knocking Reloaded down to position two.

Will one of today's crews have what it takes to become

Alesha's Street Dance Stars?

Hello and welcome back to Alesha's Street Dance Stars.

This is my quest to find the UK's hottest young street dance crews.

If you've been following the action so far,

you know we've seen some red-hot performances.

But will today's four crews have what it takes to set the stage alight

and win a place in the semifinals? The heat is on.

All of our crews want to be crowned Alesha's Street Dance Stars 2012,

and claim this amazing trophy.

Our industry experts are the ones the crews need to impress.

Let's meet them.

Hi, my name's Suzette Brissett, and I am a professional dancer

and choreographer from London.

I've worked with artists such as Jessie J, Rihanna,

Lil Wayne and Cher Lloyd.

My big break started off

when I performed on stage with Dizzee Rascal.

I'm looking for crews that are individual, have passion

and have charisma on stage.

Now, Dwayne, as head judge,

what would you like to see from the crews today?

I want to see some passion. I want to see them set that stage alight.

And I also want to see a lot of creativity. Have to see it.

Thank you, Dwayne. Now, this is the important bit.

The judges will be scoring the crews on technique,

choreography and showmanship.

Only the nine crews from the qualifiers with the highest scores

will go through to the semifinals.

In the event of a tie break,

head judge Dwayne will decide who goes through.

The atmosphere in here is ridiculous,

so let's not keep the crews waiting any longer.

First up, it's a crew who like to salute before they take the stage.

Their motto is "unleash your potential",

so let's hope they can prove their worth today.

From the Wirral, it's Future Pride!

ALL: We're Future Pride, and we're from the Wirral! Huh!

Future Pride has been preparing for this four nights

a week for about two to three hours for the past four weeks.

I think the judges will remember our hair,

because we have it dead big for the performances, so we stand out.

What makes Future Pride unique is that we don't just learn

the choreography of the move, we also learn the foundations.

We'd like to wish the other crews the best of luck, but watch out.

Your hair looks amazing as well, I have to say, girls.

I'm a bit jealous of your hairstyle.

Let's see what the judges thought, starting with Lizzie.

That was intense. Like, at the beginning...

You were ready, all of you, just so strong.

Such a strong piece,

and you have a lot of potential for other styles, as well.

I liked the breaking section into the resurrection,

that was brilliant.

Just sometimes, my only critique was at the end,

when you were doing the choreography,

it was slightly ahead of the music, but that was so minimal,

and you were all together, so you were still as a unit,

so just stick your moves on the beat,

and you guys will be so scary for the other teams.

-That's all I can say.

Great comments there from Lizzie, right?

Suzette.

I loved it. It's like what Lizzie was saying, as well.

Make sure you just simmer into the music.

Make sure you don't rush,

because you guys were rushing a bit with your popping and stuff.

Just stick with the music.

But apart from that, the transitions,

I loved the transitions in the beginning,

it was really, really good.

I loved when you guys did your little resurrection,

and you came back up, nice and smooth,

and what I liked as well,

with the Chris Brown music, when you guys...

You did the little rewind bit and the music came back, that was nice.

Nice. Thank you, Suzette. Turbo.

Yeah, well, Suzette and Lizzie have already said

about just being on beat and being on time with the music,

but that was a very good performance, guys.

I loved your transitions, your switches with your routines

and position changing.

Guys, you look good, as well, what you're wearing. I want one, jacket.

A very, strong performance. Oh, man! I enjoyed that performance.

Good stuff. Dwayne, what did you think?

I don't know what to say.

I don't want to keep going on about the part on the beat and off beat

and that, because the thing is you were all together on that.

That's what made that really crazy,

so I would say just make sure it's ON the beat.

Apart from that, from the beginning,

you guys may possibly be the strongest beginning

we've seen so far, so you really opened the show,

and it was amazing. Well done.

where we put it in like a crown shape,

OK, we'll start with Suzette.

Well done, guys. You're the first crew that used so much facials.

I loved the facials. You guys were just in the movement. I loved it.

One thing that I can say, though,

is that you guys have got so much energy

that, you know, with the freezes,

just make sure you stick with your freezes, you stick on that,

and your positionings as well.

Make sure you guys, you know, use your peripheral vision

and then you make sure you stick with that position, because it

was a little bit off sometimes, but apart from that, I loved it.

-I really loved it.

-Brilliant.

Very constructive criticism there, right? OK, Turbo.

I'll give you the constructive criticism first,

then I'll come to the positive section,

there are quite a few I need to give you guys.

Just certain moves you guys had that were thrown away.

You need to finish your moves so they look clean

and crisp on camera, in front of us and the judges.

That's that. Let me get to the good part.

The music you guys were using...

Yeah, I thought that.

The music you guys...

I don't know if you saw me and Suzette.

We were like, "Hey, this part's what?"

You guys are using beats that I haven't heard in a while.

I'm going to go to my library and have a little party in my bedroom.

You guys were using good tunes,

and showing the music through your moves as well,

cos you guys were having fun, I can see in your faces.

You guys were showing us that you enjoy what you're doing.

Just clean up your moves,

and then just make it that superior performance.

Guys, you guys are Royal fo' sho'!

Oh, that's lovely.

Great music choices. Dwayne, what did you think?

Yeah, I agree with Suzette and Turbo,

but I just really want to talk about...

I think you guys are the first group to come up with such passion

and just heart.

You showed so much. Do you know what I mean?

You really put your heart and soul into what you were doing,

and I wanted to be up there with you.

Just to reiterate what these guys were saying about the music,

that took me back.

I was like, "Where am I? Where am I? Where are we?

"Oh, we in the old skool!"

Really good, guys, seriously.

Just bring up the rest of your dancing ability

to where your passion is, you guys will be flying. Flying.

Yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed that.

At the beginning, there was a nice flow,

a nice bounce to it, and all of you had that,

and it was so strong, and I appreciated that a lot.

For me, the only critique was go through your feet

a little bit more in some of your movements,

just to help with transitions,

to help with certain movements and stuff like that.

That's my only critique, but otherwise,

the upper body was giving me everything,

and I really appreciated that

and you could teach me a little bit, a thing or two, I think.

I think I need a bit of this groove going on.

from the qualifiers will be awarded a place in the semifinals,

So, up next, it's another crew from Essex.

They describe themselves as unique, creative and dimensional.

Their motto is "When you believe you will achieve" It's Legacy!

ALL: We're Legacy, and we're from Essex. Oosh!

When we walk out on stage,

I think we're all going to be a bit nervous, yeah,

cos it'll be big, because we have everyone watching us.

We hope that the judges remember all of us as a different crew.

We are unique, and we're going to bring something new to the floor.

And we are shwack!

We do argue sometimes, but in the end,

we all make up and we're like a little family.

At the end of the routine,

I do a headstand which requires a lot of balance,

but it's hard to pull off and needs the right timing.

Hopefully I can pull it off and do the crew proud.

Over the last month, we've been working every day

until ten o'clock at night.

Committed, working hard.

Hopefully it pays off and we do well in this competition.

Hey, you actually used one of my favourite tracks,

That... Oh, yes. And there was a section I have to point out

that I really loved.

It's when my guy, when you started popping on the side here,

and there were certain points when the crew would join in,

but it just looked so effective.

You... Oh, that was GOOD!

Like, the music, your choice of movement,

their way in which you used the music, everything was hot.

My only one critique,

one critique is that you see the movement you lot were doing?

Enjoy it.

Your facials throughout were like "We've got to get through this.

"Let's get through this."

I want you to enjoy it.

Embrace the movement, because the music that you're dancing to

was so good, and the things that you lot were doing was great.

Just enjoy it, embrace it, please, I beg.

Lizzie, what did you think?

Your saying, "When you believe, you achieve", you do.

I really like that.

I'm going to keep that saying, I'm going to keep that one in my pocket.

My favourite bit was all of it, but my favourite, favourite bit

was when you guys were going across and just the little things,

and it just gave it an extra sprinkling on top,

and it was just great.

The musicality was on point, and I just want to say well done

to whoever choreographed that, because it was such a great piece.

Legacy, all these people here on the panel with me

basically just summed everything up for me.

You guys were amazing! Like, seriously. You guys had me going.

I loved the whole thing when you guys were in a group,

and then you, my man, doing the popping,

and then you were triggering everyone off, and it was phenomenal.
