You might know me as a gamer, but I'm also car crazy.

So me and my team, mechanic Rebecca and cool car nerd Sideways Sid,

are on a mission to supercharge family vehicles all across the UK.

And today we're with a family in...

Portsmouth, whose worn-out old motor is in

desperate need of our supercharging help.

Hi, my name is Molly and I'm ten years old

and I love EVERYTHING to do with fashion.

This is one of my favourite designs.

I like how the dark blue contrasts with the light pink.

My mum is originally from Uganda

and my dad loves listening to reggae music.

This is my baby brother Benjamin and he's two years old.

This is my little sister Josie.

She is seven and she loves messing around on her laptop

and eating sweets and chocolate.

This is our car, and it is old.

And I mean REALLY old.

Next year it's going to be 20 years old

and this is why we call it the Old Banger.

There are lots of scratches and the seats are out of fashion.

Why have you had the car for such a long time?

Well, now I've got three children and I have to keep paying for

school trips, I don't have enough money for a new car!

Please, Ali-A, help us supercharge our car.

I reckon I can make it stylish enough to drive on any catwalk.

I know the car is really special to my dad.

I know he's really nervous about what I'm going to do to it.

How are you feeling right now?

I'm rather anxious that this car might come back

covered in red lipstick and pink flowers!

We've also got little Benji here as well. Does he like riding in it?

Let's talk a little bit more about your car

that you've brought along here.

It's got a very interesting paint job to it.

Have you guys done that yourself?

I did that. I mixed up my paint.

That's Venetian green, which you cannot buy.

We are actually going to do a little bit of our own vlog right here.

Is there anything you know we need to change

that we're not too keen on at the moment?

Well, the seats are definitely going.

-OK, not liking the seats.

-No.

Look, Benji's coming in. Do you want to hit the horn, honk the horn?

Look at that grin. He absolutely loves it.

I'd like to change this because it's really bad...

So, Molly, we're obviously going to make sure it's road safe

and in working condition but, for the moment,

whilst I'm here, we have a very, very cool part

of the supercharging process.

We're going to be doing some design brainstorming

and only you and I will be able to see this, OK?

We're going to start with my favourite. And be honest.

What are you thinking?

-I find it ugly.

OK, well, that's not happening.

Mum and Dad are like, "What on earth could that be?"

Hopefully she won't go too crazy with her designs!

I wouldn't like too many of them,

but maybe they could be a bit smaller.

Well, that's some great brainstorming there.

My favourite idea in the brainstorm was for the white one with

-the diamonds on it.

-At first I wasn't worried.

But now I'm getting worried.

I'm afraid it's time for me to grab the keys.

Right now, my head is buzzing with ideas.

But I couldn't really say them now because my mum is literally across

the room from me and if I say it, it will give the game away.

While Mum and Dad are in the dark,

there's someone who knows what her sister's planning.

I think Molly's idea might be fabulous.

I can't wait until I see the big reveal.

My worst fear is that it's going to come back bright pink,

covered in red lipstick.

Hello, folks!

..to help Molly bring her secret design to life.

Today, Sid sorted backstage passes to a graduation catwalk show

and a chance to get ideas from a real fashion designer.

Molly, this is Alicja Teper.

Some of her work has been featured in Vogue magazine.

I've never worked on a car before,

so it's a very interesting project to get stuck into.

Molly's set to open the show,

so with stage make-up applied, it's time to chat fashion.

That's one of my designs.

A very simple dress.

Because sometimes when you design, less is more.

Alicja was really interesting and her fashion designs were awesome.

That's the one which was featured in Vogue.

I thought her collection was really original and cool.

That's the top which goes with skirt.

I like this one because of colours.

I really like her splatter prints because it looks really cool on the

clothes and I thought it might look really cool inside the car.

I want to show you one more thing.

All my models, they're going to wear these kind of headpieces.

When you get to design your car, you can think about not only the car,

but also the accessories to make it special.

I like your thinking, Alicja.

The right accessories could transform the whole look.

Now time for Molly's big moment.

I am SO looking forward to decorating the car

and putting my twist on it.

Before Molly completely finalises her car's surprise design

she needs to make sure it is totally safe to drive.

Rebecca is waiting for her at the workshop.

But what will she have discovered needs fixing on the Old Banger?

Welcome to the Superchargers workshop.

It's time to get started.

The first problem we need to address is the gearbox.

A car's gearbox is made up of loads of different cogs that change

the speed of the wheels depending on how fast you want to drive.

But these cogs won't work unless they have enough oil

to keep them turning smoothly.

Before we get it up in the air,

I want to show you the condition of the oil.

Look at that.

It's all brown and yucky. It's disgusting.

I've never fixed a car before. This will be my first time.

It's meant to do that, don't worry.

That's enough.

I'm just about to drain the oil out.

This can be a really messy job, Molly.

Can you see my hands?

I was really excited to help fix the car with Rebecca.

It's really interesting and fun.

It actually looks a little bit like treacle mixed with maple syrup,

-doesn't it?

-Yeah.

What we need to do now is put the oil in.

Now, don't squeeze it too much, because it will splash back.

I didn't get as greasy and dirty as Rebecca,

but I did get some yucky stuff on my gloves.

Everything that you are squeezing out now is going into Old Banger's

automatic gearbox.

There are lots of things families can do to keep a car road safe,

but never try to fix your motor on your own.

Rebecca is an expert.

Brilliant. Job done!

We've got one final fix today.

It is this big gap that's all the way around the door.

You must have noticed it being quite loud, maybe windy inside.

Well, my dad normally keeps the window down,

so we just think it's the window.

Fixing up the old car was really fun.

I have loosened it off slightly, and if you give it a little tap...

Tap, tap, tap, tap.

I felt just really good, because now I know...

-And then down again.

-..what it takes to fix a car.

And stop.

Wow, look at that. Old Banger is in much better condition

than when he first came in, and will now pass his MOT.

Well, when I was with Ali-A, I saw this one where it was like

a white background and some jewels and diamonds on it.

I really liked it, but I want to use different-coloured jewels.

And not as big.

I quite like these two colours.

I think they would look nice.

We are about to reveal for the very first time Molly's supercharged car.

First off, Molly, we have a little certificate here.

This is the Superchargers MOT certificate,

so the car is road-safe and legal, which is great.

Now, Molly, why don't we remind ourselves what the car was like

when you first brought it to us?

It was a horrible Venetian green.

It was all dusty and dirty inside and it was just really old.

Let's remind ourselves who painted it green.

Now obviously, Molly, you've seen it,

but the rest of your family haven't.

I was massively relieved that it looks super cool, looked groovy.
