Hello. Welcome to my Secret Hideout.

I'm just trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle.

There are so many different shapes and puzzle pieces,

I can't work it out.

I think I need some inspiration from some very smart animals.

You know, to give me a few ideas?

To get my brain in gear.

First up are dolphins.

These brilliant marine mammals have really big brains,

so they can come up with all sorts of ways to catch their food

depending on their surroundings.

This pod - the name for a group of dolphins - are working together,

and when one of them tells the others the coast is clear...

'All good to go!'

..they all rush in at the same time to catch their fish.

Problems are always easier when you solve them in a team,

which is why I'm glad you're here to help me with this.

Now, where does this piece go? Hmm...

How about, erm...

..there.

Of course!

Now, if I had lots of arms and was very clever,

I'd get this done in no time,

a bit like an octopus.

Octopuses are also very smart creatures.

They can come up with all sorts of clever ways to find food

and avoid predators.

This giant Pacific octopus

fancies snacking on some crabs that

that fisherman has caught in his pot.

Hmm...

I don't think that's going to work.

The cage is protecting them.

Hang on a minute.

He's figured out a way in.

'Yummy!'

-HE BELCHES

-'Excuse me.'

Uh-oh. Looks like he's going to get caught himself.

But the clever old octopus

uses that soft body to squeeze out of the small holes to freedom.

Ha-hey! Isn't that clever?

Hey, maybe, like the octopus,

I need to look at this problem from a different angle.

Ah!

Brilliant!

What other clever animals are there? Let me think.

Of course!

Ooh-ooh! Ooh-ooh-ooh!

An ape,

like an orang-utan.

Orang-utans are so good at learning

that when they come into close contact with people

they start picking up some of our habits,

like paddling a boat.

'All aboard!'

In the wild, orang-utans have learned to use leaves as gloves

to avoid prickly plants.

And when it's pouring down with rain

they'll even hold leaves over their heads like hats.

Ah, good idea, using a hat.

Hey!

Maybe I need a thinking hat for me to complete my puzzle.

Why don't we make a hat together?

Would you like that? CHEERING

All right, then. All you need is a piece of paper, any colour you like,

then use some coloured pens or pencils and some stickers

to decorate it with. Now, pop it in front of you,

and then fold one side over to the other side...

..like so.

Then turn it to the side and make a triangle over here,

and the same on the other side.

Now come down to the bottom and just

fold over this part,

and turn it over

and fold over the other side.

And then we have one thinking hat!

Oh! I forgot to decorate it. Hang on...

There we go - A for Andy.

Now I've got my thinking hat on I can finish my puzzle. Excuse me.

and that one goes there.
