Hello, I'm Andy and I work here at Pickles' Animal Park.

It's my job to look after all the animals,

but, today, I'm doing one of my least favourite jobs,

clearing out the rhino poo. Hmm.

And I'm doing this whilst Rachel the Rhino is in her pen.

OK, Andy.

Good to see you.

One rhino can produce enough rhino poo

to fill up three of these bags per day.

That's a lot of poo. Isn't that right, Rachel?

Well, I'm a lady and I'd rather not talk about it.

Tell me about it.

But the good thing about this is that it's great for the flowers.

I'm going to lay this in the flower beds.

Oh, look, some interesting tyres.

Oh, I've got one stuck on my horn. Oh!

Oh, Andy, a little help here, please.

Andy!

Phew. That's the last of it. I'm glad that's finished.

'Hello, Andy? Come in, Andy. Over.'

That'd be the boss.

Hello, Mr Pickles, Andy here. Over.

'Andy, I have a very important guest to show around the park today,

'and I'd like you to drive us around in the buggy. Over.'

Ah, that would be my pleasure, sir. Over.

'Oh, thanks, Andy. Now, make sure the buggy is clean and fresh.

'I know sometimes you carry smelly things in it. Over.'

I think I need to take the buggy back to the workshop

for a good clean up, sir. Over.

'Thanks. Pickles out.'

I need to find some air freshener. Maybe Kip's got some. Right.

Oh, hello, Andy. Ha-ha-ha.

What are you looking for?

I'm looking for some air freshener.

The buggy smells a bit,

and I need to take Mr Pickles and his guests around the park later.

Well, we've run out. I used the last of it on your socks.

Hmm. I suppose they do need a bit of a wash one of these days. Ha-ha.

-Oh, what are you making there?

-Oh, this? Oh, it's my new invention.

It's called Andy's portable pocket pouch.

You can wear it around your waist

and keep things in it that you might need in a hurry,

like, erm, like your keys to the buggy.

Oh, thanks, Kip. With this pouch on, I feel like a marsupial.

-A mar-what?

-A marsupial.

Marsupials are a certain type of animal, like a koala and a kangaroo,

and they have a special pouch.

Baby marsupials are called joeys and when they're young,

they climb up into their mummy's pouch and they're carried around

until they're old enough to run and bounce around themselves.

Oh, it would be great fun to be carried around in a pouch all day.

Hey, would you like to see a joey being carried up high into the trees

-or bouncing around in its mum's pouch?

-Oh, yes, I would!

Then, in that case...

BOTH: ..it's time to go on a wild adventure.

-Come on.

-Yeah!

-One. Gadget pack.

-Check.

-Two. Gizmo.

-Check.

Three. Andy's portable pocket pouch.

-Check.

-Just in case we need it.

And last but not least, the Kipmobile!

-Ha! Ha-ha-ha-ha!

-Woo-hoo-hoo! We're in space!

So, where to, Andy?

Australia, Kip. That's where we'll find koalas and kangaroos.

Then Australia it is. Go, cat nav, go!

Woah! Going Down Under!

Oh, wow, it's so hot.

Let's park the Kipmobile in the shade of that eucalyptus tree.

Good idea, Andy.

So, where are all the animals with pouches?

Well, the first animals we're going to see are koalas.

And they should be up one of these trees.

Right, then, Kip, are you ready for a climb? Huh?

Obviously, I'd love to, Andy, but, er...

Oh! SNIFF! SNIFF!

But the Kipmobile does smell quite bad,

and I think I better stay here and give it a bit of a clean,

while you find the koala.

-All right, then. I'll see you soon.

-But, Andy...?

-Yeah?

-Be careful.

Now, when am I not careful, Kip?

There's a koala! Up there!

Oh, I've got to get closer.

That means climbing this tree, though.

And it looks quite difficult.

Erm...

I know...

Activate rocket pack.

Into the wild!

Aw! A koala and her joey!

The joey stays in its mother's pouch, drinking her milk

until it's old enough and strong enough to ride on her back.

Just like that one over there.

And it looks like it's time for a snack of eucalyptus leaves.

And they love them!

However, they don't give the koalas much energy,

so they have to eat lots and lots of them.

Ah, they smell great.

Ah. I'm getting minty with a bit of pine and honey, all mixed together.

Ah!

Hey, Kip would like to smell some of these eucalyptus leaves.

I know! I'll take her some

back in my portable pocket pouch that she made me.

Ah.

Here we go. Er...

Ah!

Brilliant!

'Hey, Kip, these koalas don't have a bad life, do they?

'All they do is eat and sleep all day. Kip?'

Kip?

'Kip?'

Ah, ha-ha. Kip's fallen asleep.

And I know just the thing to wake her up. Gently, of course.

KIP SNORES

Shh.

Ergh. Er-hmm.

B-B-B... Er... What's that smell?

It's like, er, cough sweets.

It's eucalyptus. I sprinkled it on you to wake you up.

There's no time for sleeping.

Koalas are great, but there's one animal

that I really want to show you,

-a marsupial called...

-Oh, yeah. Kangaroos.

Exactly. Come on, we need to get a move on, Kip.

I've got to get back to the park to help Mr Pickles.

Oh, well, come on, then, let's go.

Lift-off!

Kangaroos!

Well, here we are, Kip.

Quick, Andy, they're going. You'd better catch them up.

I'll look after the Kipmobile.

OK, I'm on my way.

Look, Kip, it's a kangaroo joey. And he's learning to bounce!

Aw! He's doing really well.

Oh! Aw, well, that's enough bouncing for today.

Oh, but, look! Now the joeys are boxing.

Ha-ha! They learn how to box so, when they're older,

they can stand up for themselves against the other kangaroos.

Look at them go! They're good, aren't they?

I certainly wouldn't want to get boxed by a kangaroo.

Now he's getting back into the pouch to let his mum carry him.

That gives me a great idea!

Excellent! Now it's time for some fun.

Hey, Kip, guess where I am?

Andy, are you all right?

Ha-ha-ha-ha! I'm in a pouch of a kangaroo!

'It's a bumpy ride. I'm going to pop my head outside,

'but I'm going to need both hands,

'so I'll see you later.'

Woah! Kip's right, this really is bouncier than a bouncy castle!

But just as fun!

Oh, erm, you don't mind slowing down, do you? Ooh.

Woah, woah!

Woah. Erm, Mrs Kangaroo, this is great fun and all,

but I'm starting to feel a bit ill.

Could you slow down, please?

No? OK.

Time for me to go, then.

I'd better go get him.

I was never going to get out of that pouch, then.

'Andy, are you ready to pick me up in the buggy?

'The visitors have arrived. Over.'

Erm, yes, sir, I'm ready. Over.

'And what about the buggy? Does it smell fresh? Over.'

Yes, it does, sir. It has a lovely, fresh eucalyptus smell. Over.

'Ha-ha, wonderful work, Andy. I'll see you in a minute. Pickles out.'

Wow! Thank goodness for the koalas and their eucalyptus leaves!

I'd better go and pick up Mr Pickles and the guests. See you next time.
