Another great show was A Blunderbuss Thanksgiving.

What about The Kid Who Got Clothes For Christmas?

That was one of the saddest shows I ever saw.

It was great!

Those were holiday shows, but there hasn't been a holiday in ages.

Yeah. No preparations, no special store displays, no seasonal songs.

No days off school, no assemblies, no decorations.

It's cold out and the sun goes down early.

-It's like being dead, only with homework!

We need to invent a new holiday!

I told my mom your idea. She says if we think of a good one,

-she'll print it in the paper and it may become a real holiday.

Everyone dresses up in colourful costumes and rings my doorbell.

You can't see them during the day.

These are ALL great ideas.

If we put them together, we'll have the greatest holiday!

But that's extra. It's still your birthday if you don't get presents.

We should honour someone or something that's really important.
