OK, so, not the greatest dive in the world

and it's pretty fair to say I'm not nearly ready to dive

off a board that high.

But I do know someone who is.

This brave young man is Matthew Dixon.

He's won 19 diving medals in various national competitions

and at just 14 years old,

he's already earned a spot on the England team,

making his debut at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Watch out, Tom Daley - Matthew's hot on your heels.

I'll be trained by Andy, one of Matthew's coaches.

And first up is the one-metre platform.

Hands grabbed.

Bend right down, squeeze those ears tight,

look towards the blue line there.

Onto your toes first...

Fall and stretch.

That's great, I couldn't have asked for it any better than that.

That was fantastic.

So as good as that again, you'll be promoted to the next board up.

Yes! Right, OK, good.

I'm pleased about this.

And then just fall and stretch through.

'Right, this may not be so bad after all.

'Time to tackle the three-metre dive.'

-Right.

-Hands grabbed, arms out, lift those arms up a little bit

so you're stretching towards the middle there onto your toes.

Almost perfect, but you just had the legs doing this.

-I'll take it, though.

Legs nice together.

It landed the right way up but it didn't hurt.

-It's a good dive.

'Matthew was right, this is great fun.

'This one's a bit higher so Matthew showed me how it's done.

'Oh, hang on a minute, this is MUCH higher than I thought.'

We've just got to do more to build up the confidence.

Every single one of these dives is a challenge,

every single one of them.

'Matthew takes me up to the 7.5-metre platform.'

'I've lost all my confidence. and the fear's really taken over.'

That's the whole idea of diving, just to overcome your fears.

I think I might have met my match.

'but I just have to see how scary the ten-metre platform is.'

-This is what we have to dive off to compete.

Matthew, how are you so comfortable up there?

and then you just take off.

Yesterday was such a rollercoaster for me.

I had the most brilliant highs

but equally the most frustrating lows

and I just can't see how I'm going to get higher than five metres.

But Matthew and Andy might have just come up with a solution.

-We've got a new idea.

-And I like doing it cos it's really fun

and it's called the sitting-back summy.

It's just a little bit scary cos

you're going to be going off backwards.

By working my way up each level,

I think my confidence is coming back!

Matthew's been doing really well.

In fact, I'm the Junior European Champion

and I won bronze at the Junior World Championships.

Now, our next guest is one of the most exciting people

I've seen in the studio for a long time.

Maryam and Michael wanted to see more martial arts on the show.

Before we get her out to show what can she do,

let's have a look at what she did in the series she was in.

It was called My Life: Ninja Girl. Have a look.

In a few weeks' time,

I'll be competing in the World Championships.

I really want to win gold, especially in the points fighting,

which I'm doing for my very first time.

Being a ninja is tough but I love it.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

-Well, I started tae kwon do when I was three.

I started points fighting when I was six,

I started single sword when I was eight

and now I'm on the double sword.

Now, this isn't just somebody who just goes to a class

on Tuesday and Thursday and does a bit of stretching

and punches a bag - you've got real titles.

-Yeah.

-Tell me.

-I've got 280 titles altogether.

I'm 21-times World Champion and 12-times European Champion.

Let's hear it for JJ, everybody. What an amazing guest!

-Yeah, that was absolutely amazing.
