copying the person next to you is encouraged.

In fact, it could win you the ultimate, money-can't-buy prize.

Yes, indeed. you can forget the World Cup, the Wimbledon trophy

or even my CBBC Star Striker Of The Year trophy.

Are you still going on about that?

Oh, yes! Because today's teams will be playing

for the greatest prize in game-show history.

Yes, it's the Copycats trophy!

It's all very exciting, shall we meet today's teams?

We want to get to know you guys a bit better,

so we're playing your audition tape.

Lovely to have you on the show, give it up for Lizzie's Team!

Well, it looks like those cats are ready to get copying

and as with every game on Copycats, they teams will take it in turns

-to copy pictures, actions and displays of musical genius.

-Indeed.

Each team will take turns

to face the Copycats challenge a bit later on.

We tossed a coin which told us that Ruth's Team are going to play first,

let's play Copycats!

OK, Ruth's Team, how are your artistic skills?

-Fabulous.

-Excellent. Very good, yeah.

Positive words, we like that.

Well, this is Quick On The Draw.

Karen, I have three cards in my hand, you pick one,

you have ten seconds to draw whatever is on that card

to the person next to you which is Ruth. And so on down the line.

There's a maximum of 50 points to be won in this round,

but as we pass it back,

you will lose ten points for every incorrect answer.

Perfect pictures get perfect points.

Copycats, are you ready?

Well, Mark, after Quick On The Draw,

Ruth's Team have 50 points

and Lizzie's Team have no points.

All right! Now, next round will test our team's skill,

nerve and determination.

Yes, the game just got serious - this is the Copycats Challenge.

Ruth's Team, as you won the toss before the show,

you guys are going to go first.

But before we reveal exactly what awaits you,

we have to do something else.

We need to do one more thing. Lizzie's Team,

so that you don't have an unfair advantage on your turn,

we're going to send you away. But you're coming back!

Now, Ruth, as team captain, you need to nominate three people

to take part in this daunting Copycats Challenge.

But before that, let's find out what's in store. Over to you, Mr D!

The Tower. Players must attempt to remove 12 blocks, one at a time,

without the structure falling over.

10 points will be awarded for each block removed.

APPLAUSE

-OK, so, who will be going first?

-That's me.

OK, Rosie and Stuart, can you come over here?

The best of luck. Your time starts...now.

So you're aiming to remove as many blocks as you can

without the tower toppling. Ruth, the team captain, goes in.

Makes her selection - black block, excellent.

We're off to a good start! Next in is Rosie.

Which is Rosie going to choose? Lots of advice being offered.

Got to find one that moves. Pushing the red one through

to the other side. Will it come out? Careful!

That tower is moving!

-You can try another if you're not happy!

Back go the mats, safety reasons. Stuart is in, makes his selection,

pulls that out straight away. No nonsense.

It's all right, we're just watching. Don't worry.

It's getting more difficult now. Which one to choose?! Oh!

And now Stuart, quickly. Come on, Stuart! Not got long!

And succeeds! Throws it in!

You didn't do too well on Quick On The Draw,

-but this is Mime Time. Are you going to get the maximum 50 points?

You then have ten seconds to mime whatever is on that card

to the player next to you, Jo, and so on down the line. Remember,

we are looking for silent performances.

Well, Sam, after Mime Time, Ruth's team, have 50 points,

and Lizzie's team also have 50 points.

It's time to get serious once again, because Lizzie's team

are about to face the Copycats Challenge.

Earlier, Ruth's team built up a pile of points in their challenge,

but did they do enough? Only time will tell.

Lizzie's team, it's your chance to add crucial points to your score.

Remember the results of the challenge will be revealed at the end of

the music round when the extra points scored may determine

which team wins their tickets to the ball.

OK, well, before we open the doors,

Players are each assigned a colour.

They must catch 12 of their colour and deposit them in the scoring

cylinders before the time runs out. Good luck.

So it's Jo looking for the blue balls in the air.

Yaz in the middle is collecting the yellow ones.

And Lizzie is catching the red balls.

How are we doing, guys? Lots of applause outside the ballroom,

what's going in inside? I'll tell you.

Jo is pushing her hair back at every possible opportunity.

Yaz is very smiley, she's had a great day with Copycats.

In the blue one, there's a rogue green one in there. Not a problem.

There's enough room for 12 correct colours and the odd rogue one.

So, not a problem at this stage.

Doing very well on the red side, well done, Lizzie.

Jo is catching up with the blue.

More work to be done by Yaz in the middle with the yellow balls.
