And today's Copycats are...

-Welcome to Copycats, the gameshow where copying is good.

Not just good, Mark - great!

It's what I get up for in the morning.

This morning I had Copycats cereal with Copycats milk

and Copycats toast with Copycats jam.

-You really like Copycats!

-You should see what I'm having for tea!

-Shall we meet the teams?

-You mean Copycats?

-Yeah! Come on!

Molly, plant it right on my palm. How are you doing?

-Fine, thank you. How are you?

-Very well. Team, are you all right?

ALL: Yeah!

Before we go on, we're going to get to know you better.

Let's see your audition tape!

Remind me not to get into an argument with any of you lot

while we're on the show! Katrina's team, everyone. Yes!

Very good. Looks like our teams are ready to start copying.

In Copycats, the teams take it in turns to copy pictures, actions,

and displays of musical genius.

And each team will take turns to face the Copycats Challenge

and the chance to win the ultimate, money-can't-buy prize -

the Copycats Trophy.

-AUDIENCE: Ooh!

-I know.

Now we've tossed a coin and Katrina's team will play first.

Let's play Copycats.

All right. Katrina's team,

I hope you've been brushing up on your artistic skills

because it's Quick on the Draw.

Now Sheila, I've got three cards in my hand.

Pick one and you'll then have ten seconds

to draw what's on the card for the player next to you

and so on down the line.

As I said, there is a maximum of 50 points,

but as you pass it back down the line,

you lose 10 points for every incorrect answer.

Perfect pictures means perfect points.

-Copycats, are you ready?

-ALL: Yes!

Yeah! Let's close the doors!

OK, Sheila. I've got three cards -

yellowy-gold, pinky-pink and bluey-blue.

Ooh, she's gone for the yellowy-gold.

-Mmm.

-Yeah?

-Got that in your head?

-Yes.

OK, Katrina.

Oops - we're breaking the set, here.

For 50 points, what is the answer we're looking for?

-OK, Sandra?

No, it's not, I'm afraid. OK, let's open the door. For 10 points.

-Reckon you can draw that?

-Yeah.

-Nice, good.

That's what I like to see. You've got ten seconds.

Good copying.

Take a good look, Ellie.

All right, Ellie's turn.

If you think you know what it is, you can add more detail.

The next round will test our teams' skill, nerve and determination.

It just got serious - this is the Copycats Challenge.

As Katrina's team won the toss, they will go first.

Molly's team, so that you don't get a sneaky peek,

we're sending you off. But you'll be back! Bye!

All right, now...

Katrina, as team captain, you now need to pick three people

to face the tougher-than-tough Copycats Challenge.

But before we do, let's find out what's in store.

The Puzzle.

An image of a completed puzzle will be displayed on the screen.

You must copy this image by sliding the tiles into position.

10 points will be awarded

for every square in the correct place

when the time runs out.

Three, two, one, slide!

So look, there's the completed puzzle on the screen.

All you have to do is match that as well as you can.

10 points for every tile in the right place at the end.

They're already moving some of those tiles around - good.

Katrina, Sheila and Charlotte, playing right now.

Charlotte, what are you doing?!

Katrina getting a little angry. Only a little though.

It's only a game!

THEY SHRIEK

Shrieking!

Come on, keep looking back at the pattern.

Got to get this right.

Ten points for every tile in the right place

when the time runs out.

50 seconds to go.

MR D LAUGHS

Oh! This is annoying, isn't it?

Move those tiles, that's it.

Excellent.

Now we're moving.

The trick is to move the tiles in a circular motion,

leaving some in the right places as you go.

That's how it works. Easier said than done.

Especially when the tiles won't move!

30 seconds left, come on.

Quickly as you can.

Perhaps SHE should be playing the game.

to mime what's on the card to Laura and so on down the line.

Remember, we're looking for silent performances.

As usual, there are 50 points to be won

so if you think you know the answer,

add more detail to help it go all the way down the line.

I'll give you that. It's walking down stairs.

Excellent stuff, guys - 30 points.

OK, Katrina - pink or yellow?

Ooh, going for pink. OK.

Katrina, best of luck.

All right. Remember, the results of the challenge

will be revealed at the end of the Music Round

when the extra points may determine

which team wins their tickets to the Ball Room.

Now, Molly, as team captain,

you need to select three people to face the Copycats Challenge.

Before that, we'll find out what's in store. Mr D, what could it be?

Now there on screen is the completed puzzle.

All you have to do is copy that on the floor in front of you.

It's the same puzzle for both teams.

You can't crawl across the puzzle, though.

Talking to your fellow players is a good idea.

Time will run out if you're not careful.

There's Molly, considering what to do next.

All right, there are only 20 points between the teams,

but we still have to reveal the scores from the Copycats Challenge.

Which team powered through the puzzle,

3and which team have a one-way ticket to the Copycats Ball Room?

The wait is over.

I can reveal that one team got 80 points in the challenge.

I can also reveal that one team got 100 points.

So that means both teams have 160 points.

AUDIENCE: Ooh!

It's a tie-break.

Oh, it's tense in the studio.

This is how it's going to work.

Sam will have ten seconds to perform a mime.

Team captains will then also have ten seconds

to write down what they think the answer is.

The closest answer to the one on the card will win.

The Ball Room.

Players are each assigned a colour. They must catch 12 of their colour

and deposit them in the scoring cylinders before the time runs out.

All right, and if you're ready, in three, two, one - blast the balls!

So, it's Molly catching the blue balls, Howard the yellow ones,

and the red balls are Ellie's responsibility.

Are we up to this task, Molly's team from Kent?

We're about to find out. Catch the balls in the air, please!

Quickly as you can. The time soon runs out in this game.

How are we doing? Laura offering advice.

Quite a few yellow ones in there, and red ones.

Now, watch those yellows - wow!

Brilliant! That was a lot, all in one go.

Quickly as you can.

Now the yellows almost finished, almost completed.

Well done, Howard.

When Howard's done that, he can help Molly and Ellie.

He can do that now.

Another red one going in. Well done, Ellie.

A bit of catching up for Molly.

Not too bad, though - a couple went in there.

And another red one, so we're almost there.

When Ellie has finished filing the red cylinder,

she can then help Molly with the blue ones.

but there is a green ball in the blue tube...
