We should go to the planning room and figure out tonight's stunt.

We have a problem here. Over.

Oh-oh, I think we've found the problem.

Algae.

It's kind of like a pond plant, but it grows right in the water.

A little algae's good for the pond because the creatures can eat it.

But not that much. So what do we do?

Simple. We just have to clean up the pond.

We'll skim some of the algae out

and then we'll plant some more underwater plants.

Good thinking. That will help balance things.

But we can't take all the algae out.

The pond needs it, the frogs need it.

And the baby frogs eat it.

Right, let's get started.

Wait. There's just one more thing we have to do.

Ribbit!

Oops! I see what you mean, Dirtgirl.

Our little green buddies need water.

Frogs are absolutely amazing.

Frogs start their lives as eggs.

Eggs that float in the water until they hatch.

When they hatch, they don't look like frogs.

They're not green, they don't have legs and they don't hop.

They are called tadpoles.

It takes about six weeks for them to sprout their little legs.

Next, their arms pop out and they start to look like tiny frogs

with really long tails.

Eventually, they become grown-up frogs like this one.

Most frogs are slimy.

Did you know that frogs have super special skin?

They don't just wear it, they drink and breathe through it.

Frogs don't suck up water through their mouths,

they soak it up through their skin and that's how they get oxygen too.

That's why frogs need a healthy environment.

They need it to survive.

My frogs sing all night long.

I love their croaky froggy song.

There. All full of nice clean rainwater.

And it's close to the frog pond, so the frogs will find it for sure.

This should keep the frogs happy and healthy for a while.

Let's go clean that pond.

Ken, look at that!

It's a pool full of frogs.

Hmm, I know could think up a great stunt with that pool.

What?

"The amazing pool jump stunt."

Almost done.

And the extra algae makes great compost too.

I've cleaned out all the dead leaves and sticks.

They can really muck up the water.

Yeah. We made this pond, so it's up to us to keep it clean.

And same goes for the Greenthumbs, right?

I challenge you to make a pond for your frog friends to live in.

There are so many things living in there.

The water plants help keep the pond water healthy

and create places for little animals to live too.

All clean.

Now all we have left to do is put in some nice water plants.

Those will help keep the pond in balance and look beautiful too.

Water lilies, bullrushes and duckweed. Oh, my!

It'll be amazing.

Wow, the pond looks stupendous!

Now all we have to do is get the frogs back.

Let's clean up our tools and head over to the pool.

Ladies and gentlebugs, prepare to be astounded.

Our stunt bug, Ken the weevil, will be attempting to jump

the entire length of this pool, filled with ferocious frogs.

Well, maybe not ferocious, but they're still frogs.

Are you ready, Ken?

Erm, I'm ready, Grubby...

..I think.

Calling all frogs.

The pond is all clean and ready for you.

Waaaaaagh! Aaaaaaaagh!

Ribbit, ribbit!

Wow. Ho-ho!

Phew! Ken, you did it!

Yi-i-i-i-i!

You cleared the frog pond by a mile!

So m-many f-frogs!

It's hard work keeping a frog pond healthy, but it's worth it.

Don't you think so, Ken?

Sure. I like frogs.

Actually, I think I'll see them in my dreams tonight.

And tomorrow night, I'll bet. Flying frogs.

Hundreds and hundreds of flying frogs.

I hope I dream about frogs too.
