I was thinking of something different.

A-ha! I know just the book.

This story is called Farrah's Favourites.

It was written by Sue Nicholson and the pictures are by Jenny Robins.

On the first day of Farrah's visit,

she helped her grandma in the garden.

"What beautiful flowers," said Farrah.

"Pink is my favourite colour."

And her grandma smiled.

I like pink, too.

On the second day of Farrah's visit,

she helped her grandma water the vegetable patch.

"Look at the pumpkins," said Farrah. "Orange is my favourite colour."

-And her grandma smiled.

-Orange? But I thought she likes pink.

Just wait, you'll see.

On the third day of Farrah's visit,

she helped her grandma plant some seedlings.

"Aren't they sweet?" said Farrah.

"Green is my favourite colour." And her grandma smiled.

On the fourth day of Farrah's visit, she helped her grandma cook lunch.

"What delicious sweet corn," said Farrah.

"Yellow is my favourite colour." And her grandma smiled.

Yum, I like sweet corn.

On the fifth day of Farrah's visit,

she helped her grandma paint the fence.

"That looks lovely," said Farrah. "Blue is my favourite colour."

And her grandma smiled.

On the last day of Farrah's visit,

she helped her grandma with her sewing.

"It's such a pretty sari," said Farrah.

"Red is my favourite colour."

And her grandma smiled.

When Farrah got home from her visit,

she painted a picture to send to her grandma.

"Ah! All of Farrah's favourite colours!" said her grandma,

and smiled.
