TOOT! TOOT!

0:00:480:00:50

I think Twinkle has seen something up ahead. Can you guess who?

0:00:500:00:55

-What was that?

-What?

-That! There it is, the green thing!

0:00:550:01:00

-Did you see it?

-No! Yes...

0:01:000:01:03

-No...

-Did you see it?

-Yes, I see it. It's bouncing!

0:01:030:01:08

Green and bouncing! I know who that is...

0:01:080:01:12

-It's Loopy!

-There's another carriage.

-Someone else is there, too.

0:01:120:01:18

I know, it's Sweetie and Loopy!

0:01:180:01:21

-You were right, Loopy and Sweetie.

-I love Loopy.

0:01:220:01:26

Yes, we all love Loopy. He's always bouncing about.

0:01:260:01:30

-AIRY TUNE PLAYS

-At least, he usually is.

0:01:300:01:33

Where is that tune coming from?

0:01:330:01:35

SWEETIE PLAYS AN AIRY TUNE

0:01:350:01:39

It's the most beautiful thing I have ever heard!

0:01:390:01:42

SHE CONTINUES TO PLAY, DRIVER DAN APPLAUDS

0:01:420:01:46

-That was great, Sweetie.

-Oh, do you think so?

0:01:460:01:50

-I like playing my pipe.

-It's so good, it's making me feel all...

0:01:500:01:55

Whoa! Come on, Sweetie!

0:01:550:01:57

Up you go, Sweetie. Wow, look at those bounces!

0:01:580:02:02

-Whoa!

-Ya-ha! Ooh...! Ooh...!

0:02:020:02:07

It's making me loop the loopy-loop!

0:02:070:02:11

-Yay! Loopy loopy-loop!

-Whoa! Ho, ho!

0:02:110:02:15

-I think Loopy liked it!

-Heh! Whoa...!

0:02:180:02:23

May I have a go, please, Sweetie? I want to play a tune!

0:02:230:02:28

You have to be careful, it's my only pipe.

0:02:280:02:33

Of course I'll look after it! Now, can I have a go? Please?

0:02:330:02:37

-OK. Here you go.

-You can count on me!

0:02:370:02:42

HE PLAYS TUNELESSLY

0:02:420:02:44

My poor pipe! Please look after it, Loopy!

0:02:440:02:48

Don't worry, I'm great at this!

0:02:480:02:51

-HE CONTINUES TO PLAY

-Let's find an audience!

0:02:510:02:54

-I'll play a show for everyone!

-TWINKLE SQUAWKS

0:02:540:02:58

Yes, this will be some show. I think he needs more practice.

0:02:580:03:02

I'm practising on the story train! Let's go to my show!

0:03:020:03:07

If you say so, but take care of that pipe!

0:03:070:03:10

Sweetie, is that all right with you?

0:03:100:03:13

LOOPY PLAYS I can't hear you, it's noisy!

0:03:130:03:17

-Are you ready, too? Then, let's go!

-All aboard the story train!

0:03:170:03:22

I hope our next passenger will enjoy Loopy's pipe show.

0:03:310:03:35

-I can't quite see who it is, can you?

-Who's that?

-I can't tell.

0:03:350:03:40

Is that a flower? Is it Sweetie's flower?

0:03:400:03:44

-But Sweetie's already on the train.

-Oh, I know, it's Tallulah!

0:03:440:03:48

Tallulah's next on the Story Train.

0:03:480:03:52

-TWINKLE TWEETS

-Hello, Driver Dan.

0:03:540:03:58

-Oh, what's that?

-LOOPY PLAYS

0:03:580:04:02

Loopy's playing a pipe show just for you, Tallulah.

0:04:020:04:06

-HE PLAYS TUNELESSLY

-Yes, erm... Very...

0:04:060:04:11

-HE PLAYS

-Careful, Loopy!

0:04:110:04:14

-Oh, no!

-THEY ALL GASP

0:04:150:04:18

-Oh, dear!

-No!

0:04:210:04:24

Oops! I really did it this time, didn't I, Driver Dan?

0:04:260:04:30

I'm really, really sorry, Sweetie.

0:04:300:04:33

Let's see if we can work together to fix it, eh, Loopy?

0:04:330:04:37

-Oh!

-With a little bit of care and a lot of our attention,

0:04:370:04:41

let's fix this thing, Loopy. This should do the trick.

0:04:410:04:44

DRIVER DAN PLAYS A GENTLE TUNE

0:04:460:04:49

-THEY CHEER

-That's great, Driver Dan!

0:04:490:04:52

-Now, remember, Loopy - careful!

-Here, Sweetie.

0:04:520:04:55

I think I'll play my show another day.

0:04:550:04:58

-Maybe I'm more of a drum dinosaur than a pipe dinosaur.

-Oh, dear!

0:04:580:05:04

No pipe show? So, there's nothing for you to listen to, then?

0:05:040:05:09

-Nothing for you to hear at all?

-Oh! Is it time?

0:05:090:05:13

-Yeah, let's get to Story Corner!

-TWINKLE TWEETS

0:05:130:05:17

That was quick. We're all hooked up, Twinkle.

0:05:230:05:26

-Are we ready to go?

-TWINKLE TWEETS

0:05:260:05:29

And, are you ready, too? Then, let's go! All aboard the Story Train!

0:05:290:05:34

All aboard the Story Train!

0:05:340:05:38

-Who's ready for a story?

-We are! Can we have one about making noises?

0:05:550:05:59

Mending things! Is there a mending story?

0:05:590:06:02

Hm. I was thinking, maybe... A-ha! I know just the book!

0:06:020:06:08

All settled down and ready to listen?

0:06:100:06:12

-Yes, Dan, we're ready. Not moving.

-And, what about you?

0:06:120:06:16

-Sitting down comfy and ready to listen?

-Ready, Dan. Story Time!

0:06:160:06:23

-This story is called Boing Bang-a-toot!

-ALL: Ooh!

0:06:230:06:27

Written by Dave Ingham, pictures by Leah Ellen Hemmy.

0:06:270:06:31

In the town of Bang-a-buloo

0:06:310:06:33

was a house with three musical instruments,

0:06:330:06:36

Big Bass, Boisterous Bongo, and a very Busy Bassoon.

0:06:360:06:40

You'd think they would love to live together,

0:06:400:06:44

but they just didn't get along. Early every morning,

0:06:440:06:48

Big Bass did his exercises. Every morning, he'd go...

0:06:480:06:51

"Ba-doom, doom, doom, boom-ba-doom, ba-doom, ba-doing, doing,"

0:06:510:06:56

which woke Boisterous Bongo and Busy Bassoon from their sleep.

0:06:560:07:00

-Oh, I need my sleep!

-I don't!

0:07:000:07:03

After lunch, it was the Boisterous Bongo's turn to be a pest.

0:07:030:07:07

He loved to rehearse his rolls and paradiddles.

0:07:070:07:10

"Ba, da, da, da, da! Ba, doob, doob, doo! Ba, da, boo, boo!"

0:07:100:07:14

Busy Bassoon loved to sing out loud from the latest sheet music.

0:07:140:07:20

"Pweedle-dee, doo, boo, doo, dilly-doo!",

0:07:200:07:23

which didn't go down well with the neighbours at all.

0:07:230:07:26

One day, all three had had enough,

0:07:260:07:29

so decided to play over each other, and drown each other out.

0:07:290:07:33

Big Bass went, "Ba-doom, doom, doom, doom, boom-ba-doom, doom!",

0:07:340:07:39

Boisterous Bongo went, "Ba, doo, doo, doo, doo, boom, boom, boom!",

0:07:390:07:44

and Busy Bassoon just had to go,

0:07:440:07:46

"Bee, dee, dee, bee, dee, dee, beedley-doo!",

0:07:460:07:49

-but they weren't just annoying each other. Who else?

-Everybody!

0:07:490:07:54

They were annoying everybody in Bang-a-buloo.

0:07:540:07:59

They were taken before Judge Piano Forte, a very grand piano.

0:07:590:08:03

She didn't like what she heard, as she'd been woken up during a dream.

0:08:030:08:09

Big Bass told the Judge that it was the others that had made the noise.

0:08:090:08:13

Boisterous Bongo said that he was just having a practice,

0:08:130:08:17

and Busy Bassoon said she was driven to it by the other two,

0:08:170:08:21

and, with that, all three began to argue once more,

0:08:210:08:25

making a right old racket. The Judge slammed her lid,

0:08:250:08:28

shouting, "Silence in court!", and passed judgement on all three.

0:08:280:08:33

"You must go straight to jail..." she shouted, in her deepest tones,

0:08:330:08:39

"..or learn to live together in harmony!"

0:08:390:08:42

So, every morning, noon and night, the three instruments

0:08:420:08:45

decided to play together, and soon forgot their differences,

0:08:450:08:50

and the more they played,

0:08:500:08:52

the more their music became the toast of Bang-a-buloo!

0:08:520:08:56

The end. Well, what did you think of that?

0:08:560:08:59

I liked the Boisterous Bongo! Bong-a-bang-a!

0:08:590:09:02

-I liked the Busy Bassoon.

-And which part did you like the best?

0:09:020:09:08

It's time to show me the story!

0:09:080:09:10

I'm banging my drums! Boing-a, boing-a, boing-a!

0:09:110:09:17

-Look at that big violin!

-That's not a violin, it's Big Bass!

0:09:170:09:23

-Boing, boing!

-Boing, boing!

0:09:230:09:26

I was sleeping, but all that noise woke me up!

0:09:260:09:32

-Too much noise!

-Boing!

-Boing!

0:09:320:09:35

That's me, I'm being the Judge!

0:09:350:09:39

-Boing, boing!

-Ba-da-ba-da boo-boo!

-Bang! Bang! Bop! Bop!

0:09:390:09:44

-This is cool!

-THEY LAUGH

0:09:440:09:48

That was great, well done! You all loved that story, didn't you?

0:09:480:09:52

Banging bongos, boinging basses, playing together with busy bassoons!

0:09:520:09:58

Boisterous bongos! Ba-da, ba-da, boing!

0:09:580:10:02

-Big Bass! Boinga! Boinga!

-Busy bassoons! To-do, to-do, to-do!

0:10:020:10:06

Doesn't that sound nice? They make a great marching band, don't they?

0:10:060:10:11

Glad you enjoyed the story, but now it's time to go!

0:10:130:10:17

-All aboard!

-All aboard the Story Train!

-All aboard! Ho, ho!

0:10:170:10:23

-TWINKLE TWEETS

-Bye, everyone. It's time to go,

0:10:290:10:33

but let's come back soon, because we all love stories!

0:10:330:10:37

Bye, Driver Dan! Bye!

0:10:370:10:40

My favourite stories are about dragons.

0:10:480:10:52

-I like stories about trees.

-I like stories about me.
