And all of you sitting down comfy and ready to listen? | 0:06:11 | 0:06:15
This story is called the Big Blue Bumpalump. | 0:06:15 | 0:06:18
Art Taylor wrote it and Lawrie Stansfield did the pictures. | 0:06:18 | 0:06:22
Prince Huffanpuff was a happy prince. | 0:06:22 | 0:06:26
He ruled over a happy kingdom. | 0:06:26 | 0:06:28
But recently, Prince Huffanpuff had become worried, | 0:06:28 | 0:06:32
for he had heard that a big blue bumpalump | 0:06:32 | 0:06:35
had moved into a cave close to his castle. | 0:06:35 | 0:06:38
Oh, a bumpalump! What is a bumpalump? | 0:06:38 | 0:06:42
We'll see. Now, no-one had actually seen the bumpalump, | 0:06:42 | 0:06:46
but the villagers had heard it was as high as a very tall tree | 0:06:46 | 0:06:49
and had lots of shaggy, blue fur. | 0:06:49 | 0:06:52
It was said it had large, stompy feet and huge hands with claws | 0:06:52 | 0:06:58
and two or maybe three enormous horns and lots of very, | 0:06:58 | 0:07:02
very big yellow teeth. | 0:07:02 | 0:07:05
And stories were told that when it walked, | 0:07:05 | 0:07:08
the ground shook with a huge bumpalump sound. | 0:07:08 | 0:07:12
And when it roared, the windows would rattle and everyone | 0:07:12 | 0:07:15
said that the bumpalump was bumpy, lumpy and downright grumpy. | 0:07:15 | 0:07:20
-GIGGLING -Bumpy and lumpy! | 0:07:20 | 0:07:23
Prince Huffanpuff had decided the bumpalump | 0:07:23 | 0:07:26
was the most fearsome creature in the kingdom when a messenger ran in. | 0:07:26 | 0:07:31
"He's coming!" The messenger cried. | 0:07:31 | 0:07:34
The big blue bumpalump is coming. "Help," cried the Prince. | 0:07:34 | 0:07:38
But his knights all clattered away as fast as they could. | 0:07:38 | 0:07:42
Prince Huffanpuff hid under his blankets. | 0:07:42 | 0:07:45
"Shut the gates," he squealed. "Call the guards! Everyone hide." | 0:07:45 | 0:07:51
Down on the courtyard, the only person left was a small girl | 0:07:51 | 0:07:55
called Jasmine, who was busy sweeping up the hay. | 0:07:55 | 0:07:59
There was a loud knocking at the castle gates. | 0:07:59 | 0:08:02
Bump, bump, bump. | 0:08:02 | 0:08:04
Jasmine had heard that the big blue bumpalump was bumpy and lumpy | 0:08:04 | 0:08:09
and she had been warned that he was even quite grumpy. | 0:08:09 | 0:08:12
But she had never actually seen a bumpalump before so, | 0:08:12 | 0:08:16
very slowly, she opened the gate. | 0:08:16 | 0:08:19
"Hi, there," said the bumpalump, | 0:08:20 | 0:08:23
"I've just moved into the cave next door | 0:08:23 | 0:08:26
"and I thought I'd meet the neighbours." | 0:08:26 | 0:08:29
Jasmine smiled. "What lovely flowers. Do come in." She said. | 0:08:29 | 0:08:33
The guards, knights and villagers peeped out from their hiding places. | 0:08:33 | 0:08:38
Then Prince Huffanpuff strode into the courtyard. | 0:08:38 | 0:08:42
Jasmine, you are the bravest person in the whole castle. | 0:08:42 | 0:08:46
"From now on, you will no longer sweep the hay. | 0:08:46 | 0:08:49
"You will be in charge of all my knights and guards." | 0:08:49 | 0:08:52
And Prince Huffanpuff, Jasmine and the big blue bumpalump | 0:08:52 | 0:08:56
sat down to a fantastic feast, | 0:08:56 | 0:08:58
followed by a brilliant bumpy, lumpy ride around the castle. | 0:08:58 | 0:09:03
-The end. Wasn't that a good story? -Yes. Lumpy and bumpy. | 0:09:03 | 0:09:09
And now it's your turn. | 0:09:09 | 0:09:11
It's time to show me the story. | 0:09:11 | 0:09:13
ALL: Clip, clop, clip, clop. | 0:09:14 | 0:09:17
-I'm riding my horse like the Prince. -So am I. | 0:09:17 | 0:09:21
-I'm being a big blue bumpalump. -Me too. | 0:09:21 | 0:09:25
Stomp, stomp, stomp! | 0:09:25 | 0:09:27
Now I'm roaring like the bumpalump. | 0:09:27 | 0:09:30
ALL: Quick! Run away! | 0:09:32 | 0:09:34
Everybody hide! | 0:09:34 | 0:09:36
-He's not scary at all. -Hello, bumpalump. | 0:09:36 | 0:09:40
Hello. | 0:09:40 | 0:09:43
-We are at the feast now. -There is lots of lovely food. | 0:09:43 | 0:09:47
Let's all ride around with the bumpalump. | 0:09:47 | 0:09:50
That looked great fun. Thanks, everyone. | 0:09:50 | 0:09:53
