Did you know, team, without even realising it, Curtis has just passed

me the ball. That is exactly what we're working on today.

I want you to have a little think,

where do we need to pass the ball?

Defenders need to pass to midfielders,

midfielders need to be able to pass to the strikers

so the strikers can score the goals.

There's three main things we need to remember.

I'm going to control the ball, I'm going to look at Curtis

and then I'm going to send.

When we're passing, we need to make sure that we pass in a nice,

-straight line. How do we normally make a straight line?

-Ruler.

With a ruler, excellent. So can we bring our rulers

-onto the football pitch?

-So what could we use to make a ruler, what do you think?

-Shoes.

Excellent, I'm going to put the shoe that I'm not kicking with

next to the ball, pointing at the direction

I want the ball to go in and then I'm going to control, look, send.

Passing the ball properly is really important

when you're in a team - you don't want to be a ball hog.

Here's a remainder for you guys at home.

First, you've got to control the ball, look where you want

the ball to go, use your other foot as a ruler

and then send the ball.

Now it's your turn.

This time, I'm going to step out of the middle

and I want you to control, look and send the ball to whoever you want.

Each bee stands next to a honeypot marker.

The first bee needs to control the ball,

look to their team-mate and send it towards them.

The second bee needs to do the same and send it to the third bee

and the third bee needs to try and score a goal.

Then everyone swaps places and starts again.

There's a real buzz in the air today.

My team today have been brilliant at passing.

We've controlled the ball, used our feet as rulers and we've passed as

a team, but, most importantly,

we've remembered to control, look and send.
