Today, we're going to be looking at mirroring.

Who knows what mirroring in football means?

Ooh, lots of hands.

-It's when you copy the other player.

Brilliant. Mirroring is when you copy another player on the pitch,

so they can't get the ball past you.

There are three main things we need to remember when we're mirroring.

We need to think, be ready, and copy the other player.

You need to...

I've split you into pairs with a cone either side of you.

One of you needs to be in the ready position,

dodging from side to side and tapping the cones.

The other player needs to mirror them,

trying to tap the same cone at the same time, OK? Off you go.

In pairs, one of you is going to be the goalkeeper

and the other is going to be the striker taking a penalty.

Goalies, you need to mirror the strikers

and try to guess which goal they're going to shoot at. Let's go.

Copying is a really silly trick.

See? If you copy the way another player moves,

it can be a great way to defend your position

and stop your opponent getting past.

It's a skill called mirroring.

So, if we mirror the Kitties' moves...

And we can stop them getting past us...

We can defend our goal...

And then race up the pitch and score one ourselves!

Sounds like a puppy plan.

To play this game, you need to mirror your opponent.

When the whistle blows, one team stands next to the circle.

They must guard it by mirroring and blocking the other team who are

trying to get past them to collect a ball from the ball pool.

When they've got one, they take it back to their bucket and try again.

The winners of this game are the team who collect the most balls.
