Today, we're going to be all-round players.

That is someone that can play lots of different positions

on a football pitch.

Who knows the different positions on a football team?

-Kiaran?

-Goalkeeper!

Brilliant. Louis?

Midfielder.

-Excellent. Kayleigh?

-A striker.

Well done, guys. There's also wingers,

who play down the sides of the pitch to create space for the strikers,

and defenders, who play in front of the goal

to help protect the goalkeeper.

All these positions are just as important as each other,

so it's a good idea that we practise all of them.

-OK, let's go and have a practice!

-THEY CHEER

We're going to be goalies and strikers.

You dribble the ball down to the opposite goal

and pass it to that player.

Dribble back and forth until you hear the whistle.

When you hear it, that player becomes the striker

and the person in front becomes the goalie.

Off you go, dribble down.

If you don't hear the whistle, swap over the ball.

-When you do hear the whistle...

-WHISTLE BLOWS

..you become the striker.

Opposite person becomes the goalie. Good goals!

Keep control of that ball, make sure you keep dribbling.

I won't be able to score any, playing in defence.

And I've never played in goal before.

There's no way I'll be able to stop the Skunks from scoring.

That way, we learn different skills and become good all-round players.

Maybe if I use my winger skills to help me in goal,

I can become a good all-rounder.

And you're meant to be winning this match, not losing it!

I can't score goals in defence. I want to go back to being a striker.

It's the most important position.

Benny, every position is important when you play on a team.

You might not be able to score goals playing in defence,

but you can stop the Skunks from scoring them.

I suppose I could use my speedy striker skills to help.

And I might not be fast in the midfield, but I could

use my goalie kicking skills to move the ball up the pitch.

And, now I know where I'm playing, I can dribble down the wing.

While I use my acrobatic defence moves to slip past the Skunks

and score a goal!

Sounds like a puppy plan!

I'm usually in goal, so I'm used to taking big, long goal kicks.

I smell trouble. Better move like a winger and change direction fast.
