I'll teach you a move which spread across the nation - jerking.

It's not really a move, just a dance craze. Here's how we do it.

Now I've showed you what it looks like,

I'll teach you how to do it. I've got my man Tyger, my man Richard.

First move we're going to do from jerking is the Reject.

And it's this.

I know you can kind of do this, but we'll run through it again

for the audience.

Stand on one foot.

Hop forward... and jump back onto the back foot.

Hop forward again. Repeat this till you've got something like this.

After a while, put some swagger into it.

You get a move... Yeah!

Richard's got a little...

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

Cos we already know this move, now we'll add another move -

the Spongebob. This looks like this.

You jump to the left and put your hand out to the right.

-Not your hand - that's your leg.

-I got confused then.

Now hop back this way, but bring this leg in like that.

Yeah. Now swap.

-Yeah, do the same thing.

-Does the leg go behind it?

-All the time.

So jump out, then hook behind.

-Jump out again, hook.

-So...

Like the other one, we start off looking a bit boring

then after a while, speed up,

put more oomph into it.

-So you go from this...

Now we've got the Reject and the Spongebob.

All we do is put them together in a routine when you're jerking.

Hello. Welcome to the Games Download. I've got Ceal and Georgia

and we're going through the cool games of the now.

We're previewing Sonic Generations -

we're very lucky, as the game isn't out till later in the year.

Georgia and Ceal, what do you think and know about Sonic the Hedgehog?

I remember doing it as a child and it was side-on, wasn't it?

You played it and watched Sonic go side-on.

Did he have blue hair? That's all I know.

He's a classic video-game character. This year is his 20th anniversary.

-Happy birthday, Sonic.

-Happy birthday, Sonic.

The first edition of Sonic was in 1991.

In this game, Sonic's world is turned into chaos

when some strange entity creates time holes.

They suck Sonic back in time so then old and new Sonic team up

to save the world, save their friends, defeat the enemy.

-We're going to have a go.

-All right.

Previewing Green Hill Valley.

One thing I remember about Sonic was the two-player thing.

You could race.

-Yeah.

-You'd be the blue guy and there's the red guy.

You can do that.

-Nice.

-What I like about the game is the colours are so vibrant.

It's joyful. The only thing I'm not overjoyed by about the game is,

especially on the sideways version, you can hold down the analogue stick

and just sit there and it basically does it for you.

I know, I used to hate that about it. That's why I only did the races,

I won't lie. Cos the races were fun.

This is the new perspective. Can you see what I mean about the colour?

Oh, I like that.

What do you think, just playing it?

It's quality. I love this new perspective.

Modern twists and things. It's brilliant.

So that's on Sonic Generations. We'll move onto my gadget now.

Well, GADGETS - we've got two types of remote-control cars.

We've got the Lazer Stunt Chaser and the Tomy GX Stunt Buggy.

-This is the Lazer Chaser, hold on to it for a second.

-OK.

-Ceal, take both the cars and two controllers.

-These two?

-Yes.

Basically, these are the GX Stunt Buggies - they're massive in Japan,

where they came out first and were invented.

They come out in England next month. They'll be a massive hit

cos they're so unique - the look quite small and just like any other

-but they have a high speed of 14mph.

-No way!

-It does sound a bit slow.

-But for...

-For a little car like this, 14mph is very fast.

I'm going to put it in Ceal's giant fishbowl.

We have a technical difficulty. Oh, no, we don't.

-You can see how fast that can go.

-That is cool!

-Ceal, see if you can have a go on the ramp.

-Oh, yes!

Try and get it as best you can up the ramp.

Ooh!

LAUGHTER

-Let's move on to Georgia's car.

-OK.

-Yours is the Lazer Chaser. Pop it on the floor.

-Which way?

-Either way round.

-OK.

-I'm liking this way.

-It uses infrared technology.

The darker the room, the better so it can pick it up more.

The car chases the laser.

-Oh!

-That is cool. I like the wheels changing colour!

That's pretty good.

-Can I have a go?

-Go for it.

-Thank you.

Ooh! Ooh!

You need to fire the laser where you want the buggy to go.

-It will follow the laser.

-Oh, OK. So I don't hit IT.

No, hit where you want it to go.

Oh, I love this!

These are already massive in Japan, where they were designed.

-They come out in the UK next month.

-So we're quite lucky.

We are lucky to have them to play with today.

So, that's enough of that. Now it's time for Tyger Verses.

OK, Tyger Versus is the part of the show where

I go up against one of these guys at one of the cool games.

So, let's find out who I'm against. Ooh!

-Exciting. All right.

-You take a microphone. And we'll stand up.

If you like magic, even if you don't, it's amazing.

You watch it and you're like, "How did they do that?"

You don't know because it's magic.

I would do some magic, but I don't want to be on Penn and Teller.

It's fun and the aim of the game is the people doing the tricks

have to fool Penn and Teller.

If they do, they're in with a chance to win.

As you can see, my arm goes all the way inside.

-If I open this, you can see my arm is real.

Would you like to make sure it's real? Argh!

Bear Grylls was in the SAS,

and he thinks he can survive in any climate,

anywhere where usually we'd die straightaway.

This show is to prove that he can.

He goes to survive in quick sand, where you just drop, you're gone.

He survives that.

Being in the desert, in the Arctic, climbing mountains with nothing,

surviving using a boat, I can do that, nothing big.

In this week's episode, he is trying to survive

in the freezing cold ocean in Scotland.

If you are a bit squeamish,

don't watch this because he uses a seal skin as a wetsuit.

If you're a bit icky, not the show for you. If not, it's absolutely fine.

Here he is surviving in action.

I will survive.

It is highly unstable and no matter how light you step,

every footfall sets off a chain reaction of moving rocks.

It's like walking on a mountain of ball bearings.

That's why on a rock fall you've got to have eyes on it.

The show is a sitcom based in a video game.

The show is based around characters from video games you play

and what they do when they're not playing the game.

When you pause it, what do they do? They don't just wait, do they?

You see what they do and that's what the show is about.

In this week's episode, two of the characters have swapped bodies.

One of them has to pass their exams and the other is stuck on a level.

But will they stay in each other's bodies for ever?

They have to get out and escape. You have to watch to find out.

Now we have got Wild Rescues.

I'm an animal lover and this is what it's about.

It's about rescuing animals in a bit of a predicament.

In this week's show we've got a dog that's fallen down a well.

Not just any well, it's a 700-foot well.

The fire brigade are here, the animal people to save it,

and time is against them.

If the dog survives is whether they can get him out fast enough.

That'll be all full on.

Also there is an alligator in a pond in Ohio.

You don't usually get that so it's a mystery.

My man just jumps in and goes, "I'm going to get it out."

Fight with an alligator, really action-packed. It's a great show.

The American voiceover does get on your nerves a little,

but it's fine cos the rest of it's brilliant.

Here's a sneak preview.

Tim suspects if there is an alligator in the pond,

it's a former pet that escaped or was set loose

by it's owner when it got too big.

He goes to the pond to investigate, fully aware of the risks

if there is an alligator.

I feel the fear which gets my adrenalin pumping

which gets me to focus on what I have to do.

But where is the 'gator hiding?

Tim looks for almost two hours before he finds out.

I finally saw some movement on the bottom.

Bubbles came up, a bit of mud.

He shot into the thick moss thinking he was hiding from me.

The 'gator tries to escape through pond's thick clumps of moss.

It's a ride Tim will never forget - if he survives.

I didn't think I was going to make it through there

with him flipping and moving around.

Finally, Tim heaves the alligator on to dry land.

Both are tired, but neither of them has been hurt.

I'm meeting Hannah who finds her little brother scruffy,

embarrassing and really annoying.

Hi, I'm Hannah, I'm 11 and I live with my mum, my dad

and my little brother Adam.

My dilemma is that my brother's really scruffy

and wears old-fashioned clothes and has horrible hair.

My brother is kind and nice, but really annoying when he wants to be.

The most annoying thing he does is when I'm in my room with my friends,

he'll burst in and start annoying us cos he doesn't like being left out.

Go away. Adam, please, we're trying to do homework.

-It's a big test.

-Go away!

-Write it all on your hands!

He's noisy and always on his computer which is so boring.

-Adam, do you fancy a game of swing ball with me?

-No, I'm busy.

Hannah has a big job on her hands.

But I think we can re-style Adam into the perfect little brother.

-Thank you.

I'm here because you've got a bit of a problem with your brother.

He's got nice hair, but it's always stuck to his head,

he never lets me spike it.

He has loads of nice clothes, but he always wears the boring ones,

like a plain T-shirt.

He never leaves me alone. He's very noisy.

He sounds like a typical little brother.

Together we can smarten him up and make him less annoying. Yeah?

That were so nice of him!

Adam never usually plays swing ball with Hannah but today is

different because she's promised to play computer games with him later. It's all about compromise!

Being the perfect brother is easy.

There's a few do's and don'ts you need to remember.

Don't wear scruffy old T-shirts, make an effort.

Adam did and it made Hannah want to spend more time with him.

Lose the bed head by styling your hair every day.

Don't annoy your sister when she's with her friends.

Try and be helpful!

Yes, yes we're back again with Weekend Download.

Now we've something cool and exciting for music-lovers out there. Take a look at this.

Hi, I'm Will. I'm 19 and I'm a DJ.

A DJ's job is to mix an assortment of music to entertain the crowd.

I've been DJ-ing now for 10 years, since I was nine years old.

I took it up because I love everything about music

and I thought if I can play music to a crowd and make a living out of it I'd be very happy.

You can DJ with any type of music in the whole world.

In the club I play hip-hop, indie, on the radio hip-hop and R&B.

Anything that will make the crowd dance and make me smile,

I'll play it.

Basic skills you need to master, first of all are beat matching.

Beat matching is mixing one track to another,

seamlessly without the audience noticing.

It took me about three years, maybe even more to perfect.

Scratching is a skill used by DJs to put a creative spin on an existing track.

What I love about DJing is that I get to play music which I love,

I get to put a creative spin on it with my scratches,

with my mixing, and I just love music in general - all types of music.

Anyone can take up DJing.

If you find you're listening to music for hours

in your bedroom, you're turning on the radio all the time,

probably - most definitely - you've got what it takes to be a DJ.

To start out as a DJ, you need four basic things - headphones,

two decks and a mixer.

I'd recommend, because the equipment is expensive,

that you go to a youth centre which has the DJ equipment.

Practise on there, see if you like it,

and if you do, go buy some cheap equipment.

When you first start, find the type of music you're passionate about,

start building a collection of that music and learn to mix them together.

The first thing any DJ needs to do is learn their way around the equipment.

First, the decks. I'm using CD decks.

This is where all the music is played out from.

I have two decks, which allow me

to move from one song to another without having to change the CD.

# In the club with my homies, tryin' to get a little... #

The platter allows me to manually move through the song

and is used to make the scratch effect.

Next there is the mixer. This has two basic functions.

It controls the volume and lets you move back

and forth from one deck to another.

Headphones are very important to any DJ.

They allow you to prepare the next song on one deck

while the audience are hearing the music from the other deck.

The trick I'm going to teach is called the baby scratch.

This produces the basic scratching sound

and is the first skill most DJs learn.

The baby scratch is a great way to begin a mix.

Find the beat. This will usually be at the beginning of a track.

BEAT PLAYS

Make sure the crossfader on the mixer is assigned to the correct deck.

Put your hand on the platter and move your hand back and forth

over the beat for a quick count of eight.

One and two and three and four and five and six and seven and eight and.

The fun and sometimes scary thing about being a DJ is

you never really know what's going to come next.

One minute I can be DJing in a club, the next day I get a call

saying, "Do you want to go on a tour with The Saturdays?",

The answer was definitely yes!

But either way, you're always having fun doing what you love,

playing music to thousands of people, so it's a win-win situation.

That was brilliant. We've actually got Will with us now.

Will, show us what you can do, mate.

HE SCRATCHES AND MIXES

APPLAUSE

I've got to say, that looked amazing.

Now, Will, I've never been anywhere near this

sort of equipment before, DJing.

But this is Weekend Download, and you're going to be teaching me.

-I'm going to try.

-You're going to try and teach me? Right. So first step.

First step, I'm going to teach you the baby scratch,

which is, like I said, the most easy scratch.

-It's in the name, it's for babies.

-You shouldn't have said that.

-If I can't do it, it'll make me look really bad.

-Yeah, embarrassing.

So this is the baby scratch. Three basic steps to take.

OK.

The first step is find the sound,

so we're going to be scratching this sound.

So you find the beginning of it, which is this.

-Right? With me so far?

-With you so far.

So the next part is you put your three fingers here,

on the platter, this is the platter, the round circle here.

And you scratch the sound back and forth to the count of four.

So you go one-e-and-a two-e-and-a three-e-and-a four-e-and-a.

-All right?

-You've lost me.

It sounds ridiculous,

but this is how it will sound when you're counting aloud.

When I was revising for exams and stuff, what I'd do is pack up

my books, go for a half-hour walk, to this place,

sit down and revise for like an hour and then walk back.

If I know I have to go somewhere, I'd rather get on a bike than walk,

because I feel like I'm doing nothing.

and it's going to be great. I really enjoyed the first one.

Lightning McQueen wants to be a race car.

He gets caught somewhere and he has to get back to his race.

That was action-packed but this only gets better

and stars one of my favourite actors, Michael Caine.

You may have heard of him. He plays an agent and it's really different,

We've still got the racing but there's also an agent element

and a few secret missions. But here is a sneak preview for you,

for the film out later this month, Cars 2.

It is the Twilight Saga triple pack.

a massive craze about it, there's a fourth film due out soon

and it's the vampire, Edward Cullen, Isabella Swan

and the werewolves and they're fighting each other.

There's a massive battle and it's kicking off.
