Mmmm! I can smell something yummy! Someone's cooking!

Do you know what you call someone who cooks all the time?

A chef!

Shall we squiggle our own chef?

What sort of line could we use? Let's have a look.

It's a bumpy line!

Have you got your Squigglepad and Squiggle Sticks ready?

Now it's time to get squiggling!

We'll need a bumpy line for the top of the chef's hat.

I love bumpy lines! Squiggle one with me.

Up...

then bump, bump, bump...

and down.

What's yours like?

Up, then bump, bump, bump and down.

Now some straight lines for the bottom of the hat.

Then three straight lines like this.

There's our chef's hat.

Now a curved line for our chef's head.

And another bumpy line for his hair.

Two eyes. One...two.

Nose.

A big smiley mouth.

And two more curved lines for his ears.

Our chef needs an apron.

Down, across and up.

Two arms.

With wiggly fingers.

One...two.

And last of all, his trousers and shoes.

There's our chef. Shall we meet him?

Now some straight lines for the top of the table.

up, across...and down.

All it needs now are some legs.

Let's use some straight lines.

A little line across the bottom.

One more leg on the other side.

There's Chef Shallot's kitchen table.

Why don't you colour yours in

So, Chef Shallot, what are you making for the royal banquet?

Ze king's favourite food! Pizza!

I just need to make ze topping!

Ah! Ze best cheese in ze kingdom!

Now I need some tomatoes!

Oh, no! I've run out! What am I going to do?!

Maybe you need to find something else that goes with cheese?!

Ah! Jelly! Everyone loves jelly!

Do YOU think jelly and cheese pizza will taste nice?

Euch! Horrible! It's almost time for ze royal banquet!

I need tomatoes!

Where do you usually get them?

The best tomato plants grow near a cave in the countryside.

Then let's go and pick some!

We can't! A fire-breathing dragon called Freddie lives in the cave!

I usually pick ze tomatoes when he's asleep!

But I need some NOW!

Let's just ask Freddie nicely.

Oh, yes! Those tomatoes look delicious!

And I can't see any dragons. Can you?

No! So let's pick some, quick!

I know ze perfect thing for a sore throat!

Lovely, cold ice cream!

If only I'd brought some with me!

No problem! We can squiggle some for you!

We can use our bumpy line again for the top of the ice cream.

Now we need some straight lines to make the cone.

I'm colouring MY ice cream in red - strawberry flavour.

You can carry lots of things in a wheelbarrow.

And it's easy to push because of its wheel.

That's just what I need to get these tomatoes back to ze royal kitchen.

No problem! We can squiggle one for you!

to make a lovely pattern along the side of the wheelbarrow. Ready?

Bump...bump...bump...bump.

Now a straight line across the top.

Next, we need a round line to make the wheel.

Round...and round.

And another round inside.

Let's use some more straight lines to make the rest of the wheelbarrow.

Down...and across.

Then one more for the front.

Now a little leg at the back.

And last of all, a handle.

I'm going to colour mine in red and yellow.

What colour are you going to make yours?

Here we are! I'd better take the tomatoes to the kitchen

and get on with making ze pizza!
