I was feeling very hungry,

so I've just had my breakfast.

A TUMMY RUMBLES

Did you hear that?

It sounded like a rumbling tummy.

Someone else must be hungry.

There it is again! I know a little girl who's always hungry -

Goldilocks.

Shall we squiggle her?

What sort of line could we use? Let's have a look.

It's a loopy line!

Have you got your Squiggle Pads

and Squiggle Sticks ready?

Now it's time to get squiggling!

We can start with Goldilocks' ringlets.

We'll need a loopy line for those.

Loopy lines are great!

Squiggle one with me.

Loop round,

all the way round!

What's yours like?

Now let's use a round line to squiggle Goldilocks' head.

Round,

until we join it up.

She'll need some hair at the front.

Two eyes...

One, two.

A nose,

a big smiley mouth...

..and two little ears.

Now some straight lines for her dress.

Down,

across and up.

And a little curve at the top.

Let's squiggle two arms with wiggly fingers.

One...

..two!

Two little legs.

One...

..two!

And last of all, a pretty flower on her dress.

And there's Goldilocks!

Shall we meet her?

Say the magic words with me.

Hello, Squiglet. Sorry about my tummy rumbling.

Shouldn't you eat something?

I'm supposed to be meeting the three bears for lunch.

Their house is next to a river, but I can't find it.

And I'm so hungry!

We can squiggle the river for you.

Then we can look for the three bears' house together.

Let's start with the edges of the river.

We'll need some more loopy lines for that.

all the way across.

Then another loopy line underneath.

Now let's squiggle a sign

to help us find the three bears' house.

up, across,

down, down and back across.

Two straight lines to make a post.

Let's squiggle the three bears' house on the sign.

Why don't you colour yours in,

while I squiggle the rest of the riverside?

Yes, this is the river, Squiglet.

And look, there's the three bears' house!

Now you can all have lunch.

Perhaps they can't hear us. Do you think there's anyone at home?

Oh! it's very messy in here.

It does need a good tidy up.

I wonder if there's any food in the cupboards.

There's nothing here.

We can squiggle you something to eat.

What's your favourite food?

Oh, porridge!

Especially when it's cooked just right.

Then we'll squiggle you a tasty bowl of porridge.

We can use a loopy line to squiggle the top of the porridge.

and over to the other side.

Now we can squiggle the bowl.

Curve down,

and straight across.

Curve up,

and straight across the top.

We just need two more loopy lines

for the steam coming off the hot porridge.

I'm colouring my bowl in green.

What colour are you going to make yours?

There - one yummy bowl of porridge.

It's too salty.

and Mummy Bear and Daddy Bear will be home soon.

They're using sponges to clean up.

We just need to give everything a good clean.

I'll fill it up with soapy water. But we don't have a sponge.

No problem. We can squiggle you one.

We can use our loopy line again.

Ready?

Let's squiggle the outside of the sponge.

all the way around.

Now we can squiggle some round lines to make holes in the sponge.

I'm going to colour my sponge in yellow.

What colour are you going to make yours?
