Squiglet here. Bounce! Bounce!

Ooh, I love bouncing around!

Can you think of an animal who likes to bounce around? A kangaroo.

Shall we squiggle our own kangaroo?

What sort of line could we use? Let's have a look.

It's a straight line. Have you got your Squiggle Pads

and Squiggle Sticks ready? Let's get squiggling!

We can start with the kangaroo's head.

We'll need some straight lines for that. I love straight lines.

Squiggle one with me.

Across, across.

What's yours like?

Across, across.

Now we need a curved line for the bottom of her head,

and a straight line up.

Two eyes, one, two,

a nose, and a smiley mouth.

Kangaroos have big ears.

Let's use curved lines to squiggle those.

Curve up, and down.

Then up, and down.

We can use some more straight lines for our kangaroo's body.

Down along her back, and across the bottom of her big foot.

Now the front of her foot.

Curve up, around, and up.

Kangaroos have pouches in front, where they carry their babies.

Straight across, and curve down.

And a straight line for her body.

Two little arms, one, two,

and a long curved tail.

And there's our kangaroo!

Shall we meet her?

Ooh, all your busy bouncing's making me feel dizzy.

and now I want to find a useful job.

Let's start looking there,

at one of the shops in Bouncyback's main street.

We can use our straight line again to squiggle the shop.

Ready? Straight down, across,

and up.

Now a bumpy line for the awning.

Bump, bump, bump, bump.

And some straight lines across the top.

Across, up, across

and down.

And some more straight lines to make stripes.

Our shop needs a door...

..with a round handle.

And a window. Across, down, across, and up.

Finished! One shop.

Yes! This is Bouncyback's main street,

Bouncyback Boulevard!

Great! Now we just need to find you a job.

Whoa, oh, whoa!

Oh, I'm supposed to deliver all these pots and pans to the farm

but there are too many to carry.

I can help! I could carry them in my pouch.

That'd be fantastic, thanks!

The farm's straight down Bouncyback Boulevard,

then right and keep going. You can't miss it.

Those pots and pans make a very loud noise, don't they?

Oh, what's all that noise?

Oh, hello, there. I'm Frank the farmer.

Hello, Frank. I'm Squiglet and this is Katie.

She's delivering your pots and pans.

Perhaps I should use my pouch for carrying something quieter.

He-he-he! It was quite noisy!

But don't worry. Now I've got to take my chickens' eggs to market.

Eggs aren't noisy! I could help you deliver them.

I'm looking for a new job.

I don't think Katie should bounce with those eggs, do you?

Oh, yes, that's true. They'll break!

But I really want a job where I help someone.

If only my hopping wasn't so bouncy.

Yes, you need a smoother ride, like a bicycle.

Let's get squiggling!

We can use our straight line again

to squiggle the frame of the bicycle. Ready?

Down, across, up, and back across.

Now two straight lines like this.

Down, and down.

The seat goes on top of the first one...

..and the handlebars on top of the other.

Lastly, our bicycle needs two round lines to make wheels.

One, two.

I'm colouring my bicycle in purple.

Right. Now I'll get these eggs to market.

Do I? Perhaps taking eggs to market isn't the job for me either!

Farmer Frank makes the tastiest cheese ever.

But the farm's a long way from Bouncyback.

It takes ages to get here on our little legs.

Oh. I wish I could help you, but how?

Don't worry, Katie.

Let's see if we can get a clue from the Squiggle Pad.

These children are waiting with their mums at a bus stop.

The bus stop lets them know where to wait for the bus.

Here comes the bus now.

It's stopped, and they're all getting on board.

Maybe they're on their way home.

They'll get there quickly on that big bus! Bye!

A bus would help us get to the farm and back more quickly!
