Hello, everyone, Squiglet here.

Can you guess what I'm doing?

I'm brushing my hair. It's good to brush your hair.

I know someone with very long hair. Someone in a fairytale.

Do you know who that could be?

It's Rapunzel.

Shall we squiggle her?

What sort of line could we use?

Let's have a look.

It's a straight line.

Have you got your Squiggle Pads and Squiggle Sticks ready?

Now it's time to get squiggling.

Let's start with Rapunzel's hat.

We'll need a straight line for that. Straight lines are great.

Squiggle one with me.

What's yours like?

Now, a straight line up and back down.

Let's put a little veil on top and around the middle.

We need a curved line to squiggle Rapunzel's head.

Two eyes.

One, two.

A nose.

And a big, happy smile.

Two ears.

One, two.

And some curved lines for her fringe.

Next, let's use some more straight lines for her body.

Then two arms with wiggly fingers.

One.

Two.

Two feet.

One.

Two.

And last of all, let's squiggle her long, long hair.

Curve out and back.

And there's Rapunzel.

Shall we meet her?

Hello, Rapunzel, I'm Squiglet.

Oh, you really do have very long hair, don't you?

We'll start with the sides of the tower.

We can use some more straight lines for that.

Down on one side, then down on the other.

And join them up at the bottom.

Some more straight lines for the roof

to make a triangle.

Let's squiggle a little flag at the top.

A curved line for the window,

with a little window sill underneath.

Finished.

One tall tower.

Let's join the lines up.

Now let's squiggle another stilt.

And join them up.

We need the bits you stand on.

Across and down.

And one more - across and down.

I'm going to colour my stilts in blue.

What colour are you going to make yours?
