Oh! Did you hear something?

Oh! What kind of animal says "moo"? Do you know?

MOO!

A cow! Shall we squiggle our own cow?

What sort of line could we use?

Let's have a look.

It's a curved line.

Have you got your Squiggle Pads and Squiggle Sticks ready?

Now it's time to get squiggling.

Let's start with our cow's big, smiley mouth.

We'll need a curved line for that.

Curved lines are great.

Squiggle one with me.

Curve down...around...and up.

What's yours like?

Curve down...around...and up.

We need a round line for the bottom of her head.

Round...and round.

Then one more curved line for the top of her head.

She needs two eyes.

One, two.

And a nose.

Then two little ears on top,

here and here.

Let's squiggle another round line

to make our cow's body.

Round...and round. There!

Some legs...

..and a little curved tail.

Last of all, let's add some wiggly cow patterns.

Wiggly-wiggly.

Wiggly-wiggly.

And there's our cow. Shall we meet her?

It's all around the barn I live in.

On a farm.

Well, let's start there.

Shall we squiggle Cordelia's farm?

Have you got your Squiggle Pads and Squiggle Sticks ready?

Let's get squiggling. We'll start with the roof of the barn.

We'll need another curved line for that.

Ready?

Curve up...over...and down again.

We need some straight lines for the walls and the floor.

Down...across...and up.

We can use a curved line for the barn door.

Curve up...over...and down.

And to finish it off,

some straight lines across, like this.

One barn!

Why don't you colour yours in

while I squiggle the rest of Cordelia's farm?

See, Squiglet? It's just fields full of grass.

So I HAVE to keep chewing it.

There IS a lot of grass.

Chewing it all day can't be very exciting, can it?

What does a cow need to be a superhero?

Now, you've got your costume, what else does a superhero need?

Ooh! A superhero vehicle to drive round in.

But they only have costumes here...

No problem.

Let's squiggle Cordelia a superhero vehicle just right for a cow -

a tractor.

Have you got your Squiggle Pads and Squiggle Sticks ready?

Let's get squiggling.

We can use our curved line again

for the mudguards over the tractor's wheels.

Ready?

Curve up...and over.

And another one here.

Curve up...and over.

Now, some round lines for the wheels underneath.

One...

..two.

And two smaller round lines inside.

One...two.

Good!

Let's squiggle the big bonnet.

Curve up...around...and across.

Then a rectangle -

down...across...and up.

Then one more curved line for the back of the tractor...

with a straight line between the wheels, like this.

And a seat on top!

A tractor needs a steering wheel.

And an exhaust pipe on the bonnet.

Let's finish it off with some special wiggly cow patterns.

Perfect for a cow superhero!

I'm going to colour my tractor in blue and yellow.

What colour are you going to make yours?

I've got my costume and my cow-mobile,

but what do superheroes actually DO?

They help people.

Maybe you could help one of your friends?

Well, my best friend is the farmer,

so let's go back to the farm and see if I can help him!

Oh, dear! The grass has grown really high since I've been gone.

And what's that hat doing on top of it?

It's me, Cordelia.

Oh! There's someone underneath.

Oh! It's the farmer.

The grass has grown so tall while I've been away being a superhero

-he must have got stuck in it.

-Oh, dear.

I should have been here eating the grass.

It'll take me for ever to eat all this.

What am I going to do?

Don't worry, Cordelia.

Let's see if we can get a clue from the Squiggle Pad.

Can you spot a way to help Cordelia make the grass shorter?

Here is Thad in the garden with his dad.

His dad is cutting the grass with his big lawnmower.

And Thad is helping with his toy lawnmower.

Look at all the grass cuttings!

Mowing the lawn is making the grass nice and short.

Did you spot something that could help Cordelia rescue the farmer?

That's it! If I had a lawnmower, I could cut the grass really fast

and rescue the farmer. But I haven't got one.

No problem! We can squiggle you one.

Let's get Squiggling!

We'll need another curved line to squiggle the top of the lawnmower.

Ready? Curve up and over.

It needs two round wheels.

One...

..two.

Then a smaller one inside.

Now another one.

A straight line to join the wheels together

and a curved line on top of the mower.

It needs a grass-catcher at the back -

straight line across and curve back down.

And last of all, two straight lines for a handle.

One...

two.

And a round line on the end, like this.

Done!

I'm going to colour my lawnmower red and black.

What colour are you going to make yours?

There. One lawnmower.

Oh! That looks perfect!
