-First, let's visit

-We keep horses at home.

-We have 22 horses.

-Some are brown,

-some are black, some are white.

-have small ears and large eyes.

-We brush and feed them every day.

-We also clean the stable.

-They eat grass, oats and barley.

-Hello. I'm Tref the animal expert.

-Today, I'll name three creatures

-that begin with the letter N.

-First, N for neidr gantroed

-(centipede).

-A centipede doesn't have 100 feet

-but it has many.

-One advantage of having many feet

-is being able to move quickly.

-It uses its front legs

-to catch insects to eat.

-As it grows, it grows more legs.

-Secondly, nico (chaffinch).

-The chaffinch

-is a small colourful bird...

-..which eats seeds

-and small insects.

-This bird can fly long distances.

-During the winter when it's cold...

-..they'll fly all the way

-to southern Spain.

-What a life!

-Thirdly, neidr (snake).

-There are 3,000 different kinds

-of snakes.

-They all eat meat.

-Even though they look slimy,

-their skin is dry.

-By the way,

-some snakes are poisonous.

-Be very careful!

-Ooh, I have a joke.

-I visited the doctor

-after swallowing a snake.

-I felt really bad.

-To be honest,

-I felt really s-s-s-s-sick!

-Today, we're preparing the sheep

-In this tank, about 30 sharks.

-but little dogs can be dangerous!

-We give them plenty of room,

-we don't touch them.

-and they don't bother us.

-Gwawr's so brave but the fish

-are used to her swimming with them.

-They're both very safe.

-She can even feed them -

-this ray is having a feast.

-I'd love to do that - would you?

-When it's sunny,

-we take the guinea pigs out to play.

-are called Milly and Megan.

-They're almost a year old.

-When you hold a guinea pig,

-you must be careful.

-Guinea pigs come from South America.

-We call them pigs,

-but they're not pigs!

-Milly and Megan eat grass,

-dried food and vegetables.

-Guinea pigs can live

-until they're eight years old.

-They sing and purr

-when they're happy.

-This is the sound a guinea pig

-makes - rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

-They sleep a lot during the day.

-Lazy bones!
