-Hello, how are you? We've finally

-reached Haverfordwest Show.

-We're getting the sheep ready

-for the ring.

-We're competing in the

-I'm taking the lamb into the ring.

-Look out!

-It's important

-to lead the sheep properly.

-We must look at the judges

-all the time.

-I'm going to win

-because I'm the best handler.

-I'm tired.

-The judge is looking for someone

-who stands out.

-It looks as if they've won.

-Congratulations to them.

-Hello, I'm Tref,

-the best dog in the world.

-I'm an expert on animals.

-Today I'll name three creatures

-that begin with the letter A.

-First, A for...

-..anemone.

-The anemone...

-These live at the bottom of the sea.

-They're different colours

-and look like pretty flowers.

-Don't smell them -

-they have poisonous tentacles.

-That's how they catch their food.

-They eat insects and tiny fish.

-Secondly, the armadillo.

-The armadillo

-lives in South America.

-The armadillo sleeps

-for 16 hours a day.

-We should call it a lazydillo!

-Thirdly, arth coala (koala bear).

-Koala bears live in Australia.

-Its name is koala bear

-but it's not a bear!

-It's closer to a kangaroo.

-It carries its young

-on a pouch on its belly.

-The koala bear's favourite food

-is eucalyptus leaves.

-They don't eat anything but

-the leaves of the eucalyptus tree.

-The koala bear's favourite drink

-is Coca Koala!

-Only joking.

-Hello, I'm Brian. I'm a honey bee.

-You've caught me on a busy day.

-I'm collecting honey

-There's nothing better to do

-on a sunny afternoon.

-I'm not actually collecting honey.

-This is called nectar.

-I'm collecting it

-before returning to the beehive...

-..where it becomes honey.

-I'll show you.

-I have two stomachs - one for eating

-and one to store the nectar.

-I suck the nectar like this.

-When my belly is full, I take

-the nectar back to the beehive.

-Come on, you can see

-where we keep the nectar.

-My honey and my friends' honey

-is kept here.

-In which hole can my honey go?

-I know. This one.

-Remember,

-honey on toast is very tasty.

-Weren't they busy bees?

-Hey, look at this then.

-The crocodile.

-It's the creature

-that's most similar to a dinosaur.

-They have very long bodies,

-almost three times longer than me.

-The crocodile is a large lizard.

-It has plates on its skin,

-just like the snake.

-Crocodiles have long tails

-and small noses.

-The crocodile isn't scared

-of anything.

-They eat, well,

-all kinds of animals.

-They live in rivers and lakes...

-..but they don't live in Wales,

-thank goodness.

-If you see one of these anywhere

-in the world, don't get too close.

-Let's join a much smaller animal -

-Pws the cat.

-My Animal

-I'm Rhiannon, I have a cat.

-Here's Pws and he's been with us

-since he was seven years old.

-He's two now.

-I couldn't decide on a name.

-We called it Charlie first,

-then Jerry.

-Then we all decided

-we wanted to call him Pws.

-Pws is very fussy.

-He only eats one brand of food.

-Pws is a black and white cat.

-Look carefully

-and you'll see his black moustache!

-Pws isn't like every other cat.

-When he's cold,

-he sleeps on the shelf.

-When he's hot,

-he sleeps in the sink.

-We don't have a cat flap.

-If he wants to go out, he jumps up

-and goes out of the window.

-He sees very clearly at night.

-A lot better than me.

-To keep clean, cats lick their fur.

-The cat is one of the most popular

-pets in the world.

-They don't make a mess and there's

-no need to take them for a walk.

-Pws and I are good friends.

-I've been looking forward to

-seeing one of these for a long time.

-The world's largest land animal -

-the elephant.

-Look at its size.

-There are two kinds of elephant.

-The African elephant

-and the Asian elephant.

-These are Asian elephants.

-Their ears are smaller

-than African elephants.

-They mostly eat plants -

-no meat at all.

-They drink a lot of water every day.

-Believe it or not,

-they're strong swimmers.

-They use their noses as snorkels.

-I love elephants.

-Despite being so big,

-they look like fine animals to me.

-Look at their tusks.

-They use them to dig for food.

-They can live to be very old.

-I've enjoyed myself
