They look delicious, don't they? We're going to make

Find The Filling buns. They're going to be great

for when we play hide and seek. But before we start on the cooking,

-what have we got to do first?

-ALL: Wash our hands!

We've got to wash our hands. Come on.

# Have you done your hands? Washed and dried?

# Sleeves rolled up, apron tied

# What can you do? I can cook! #

OK, now that we've washed our hands, let's get started.

The first thing we have to do is weigh some flour.

-What are we going to need to weigh our flour?

-Scales!

We need scales. Now, this weight is the same weight as

the amount of flour that we need.

We're going to put the flour onto

this side of the scales

until the two sides are balanced.

Come and gather round me at my table.

Now, what I need you to do is shout out

if we need more flour or less flour. So shout, "More!"

ALL: More!

-Let's hear you shout, "Less!"

-ALL: Less!

Keep shouting "more" or "less"

until the red point is in the middle.

Let's go.

That's a lot of flour.

It is a really big pot of flour.

OK, more or less?

ALL: More!

-More or less?

-ALL: More!

A bit more.

Oh, more or less?

-ALL: Less!

-That's right.

-Are they balanced?

-Yeah.

We did it, we got it in the middle! Thanks, everyone,

and thank you, too. All right, back to your stations.

Down here, you've got three little pinch pots.

The first one's salt. The second one is sugar.

We're going to add those two in first.

Well done, guys.

OK, the next ingredient...

Come closer.

The next ingredient is magic.

It's called yeast, and it's magic

because it makes the dough rise up when it goes in the oven.

It uses the sugar to make little bubbles - pop, pop, pop!

And that makes it rise up.

Put the yeast into your bowl, on the other side.

Everyone, show me your hands.

OK, we're going to get these hands really messy.

We're going to mix up all the ingredients. So dive in and go!

-Whoosh!

-Whoosh!

-Oh, it's really soft.

-Yeah, really soft!

It feels like my soft teddy bear at home.

-Has everyone mixed that all up?

-Yeah.

-Yeah.

Show me your finger. We're going to make a little finger drill. Rwa-orr!

Have you got a finger drill? Rwa-orr! Make a hole

with your finger drill in the middle of your mixture. Rwa-orr!

There you go.

Now, once you've made your hole, we're going to pour water into it.

Take your jug of water, pour it right into the middle.

-Like a little pond.

-Yay!

It's filling up!

Put your fork in the hole

and then start mixing all around.

-It looks like porridge.

-I like porridge in the morning.

-Getting all gooey!

-All gooey!

Get your bowl like this and then get a fork and go...mix, mix, mix!

-Fantastic! You're very good at that, aren't they?

-Yeah.

Next, we're going to turn our dough out onto our mats, plonk.

The next thing we need to do with the dough is give it a good stretch.

It's called kneading. I'll show you a really fun way to do it.

We have to make butterfly wings.

So hold your dough with both hands like this.

Stretch it out, like butterfly wings, and then pull

the wings into the middle and use your knuckles to push them down.

Good, Taniya! Pull and push.

Time to add some flavour. Oh, I love this bit.

Now, you have got a tray on your tables with lots of different types

-of fillings. Can you tell me what you can see?

-Raisins!

Does anyone know how to do the raisin face?

Squeeze your arms up, squeeze your eyes up, squeeze your nose up,

and make everything tiny and go, "Raisin face!"

Lloyd, you've got the best raisin face I've seen!

We've also got garlic.

Over here, we've got lots of fresh herbs and, in the middle,

we've got sun-dried tomatoes.

What we need to do before we add them

is split our dough into three balls,

which are the same size.

There's one, two,

three.

So off you go, team.

And if one's a bit bigger than the other,

you can take a little bit off and add it to another one.

It's time to play hide and seek with our ingredients.

Take one or two ingredients - I'm going to take some tomatoes -

put them in the middle, like that,

and then you hide them.

So that's it. Fold that over.

They're playing hide and seek in the mixture.

Once you've put your ingredients

in the first bun, hold it in your hands

and then split that ball into two.

Rolly, rolly, roll, roll!

OK. All right, next one. I think I'm going to have some apples.

Squash it together with all your might.

That's it. Hide it, hide it. Don't want anyone to see.

And there we have it. We've got our six buns.

So all we have to do now

is put them onto our tray.

We put one in the middle,

and then the other five around the outside.

-Everyone finished?

-ALL: Yeah!

And that's it, you've made Find the Filling Buns all by yourself.

All we've got to do now is put them in the oven.

Now, this oven is cold, but remember,

ovens get hot, so don't go near.

You need to ask a grown-up to help you here.

These shouldn't take too long to cook, once that oven gets hot.
