Bits of bread - we call them breadcrumbs.

What tasty treat are we going to cook?

We're going to make Thai green turkey balls.

Don't they look delicious? They look great.

But before we get started on the cooking,

-what have we got to do first?

-ALL: Wash our hands!

That's right, we've got to wash our hands.

Come on, everyone, let's go.

Now that our hands are washed, let's get started.

The first thing for our recipe is an egg.

-And an egg like this comes from a dinosaur!

It does come from a chicken - I'm only being silly!

Can you pretend to be a chicken? Ready? Bwak-bwak-bwak-bwak-bwak!

You're a brilliant chicken! Time to crack our chicken eggs, everyone.

We get the egg, we knock on the door like this.

We go, "Knock, knock, knock."

And then use your thumbs to really gently open it up,

and the egg will pop out, like this.

Woo-hoo! All right, everyone. Let's just give our hands a quick wipe.

Next, we need to press the fast button on our hands. Ready?

Beep, beep, beep, beep!

And we're going to use our fork to whisk it up really fast.

Whizzzzzzz!

I can't hear you whisking, everyone!

Whizzy, whizzy, whizzy, whizzy, whizzy!

All right, that's enough whisking for now.

Mine is like a bubbly bath.

-Mine, too!

-Yeah, really bubbly!

Pop your forks onto your mat.

The next thing we'll add is some cooked turkey mince,

which you've got in this bowl.

And all we have to do is pop it in with our egg. There we go.

And then we're going to add some breadcrumbs,

and they're going to help the mixture stick together.

Then, we're going to add some lovely Thai green curry paste.

Now, we're going to take a teaspoon of Thai green curry paste.

But hang on a minute, it looks like we've got three types of spoon.

I wonder which one is a teaspoon? Do you know which one?

I know which one is a teaspoon, Katy!

It's my friend, Spoon! Everyone say, "Hello, Mr Spoon!"

-Hello, Mr Spoon!

-Hello, everyone!

Mr Spoon, can you tell me which one of these three is a teaspoon?

Of course I can, Katy.

The very little spoon is called a teaspoon, so that's the one you need.

Now we know which one is a teaspoon, we can carry on with our recipe.

We're not going to use one teaspoon -

we're actually going to use two teaspoons.

So, take one teaspoon and load it up with our Thai green curry paste.

Then, using the other spoon, slide it off into your bowl like this.

Ready? Woo-oop! Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!

And next, everyone, we're going to use a wooden spoon

to mix everything up all together.

So, off you go, team. Let's get mixing.

Mixing, mixing, mixing! And don't forget to mix with us too.

Have you got your bowl? Have you got a wooden spoon?

Then you can mix, mix, mix!

Excellent! There you go, give it one last good mix.

And stop!

-Now, who is ready to get messy?

-ALL: Me!

Brilliant, because we're going to use our hands to scoop out

each portion to make four balls.

So off you go, take out one portion of your mixture.

Oh, it's really sticky!

And then you roll it in your hand like this.

You can just jump it from hand to hand. What does it feel like, Jamie?

-Weird!

-And then do the same with the other portions of the mixture.

-Where should we put it?

-On the mat, that's it.

You're doing a really good job.

Let's count the balls to check we've got enough.

And you can join in with the counting, too.

-ALL: One, two, three, four.

-Fantastic.

Next, we are going to use these three bowls of ingredients.

We're going to take one of our balls

and we're going to roll it in the flour so it looks like a snowball.

THEY LAUGH

And then, we let it go for a little swim in the eggy mixture.

And then finally, we give our ball a breadcrumb coat like that.

OK, your turn now, everyone. Off you go. Snowball... Swim, swim!

That's it, Jamie. Pop it on to your tray over there.

Fantabulous!

-Ugh!

-You've got monster hands! Raaaaargh!

CHILDREN: Raaaaargh!

Let's give our hands a wipe and get all this messiness off them.

Just pop your tea towels down, and that's it, you've done it!

You've made your Thai green turkey balls, and done it all by yourself.

And all we have to do now is pop them in the oven.

Now, remember, the oven is hot, so don't go near.

You need to ask a grown-up to help you here.

Right. Now, these shouldn't take very long to cook at all.

Don't forget, we need to make everywhere tidy and clean -

-scrub those pots so they sparkle and gleam.
