We're going to make chicken and tomato smiles today.

They look great.

But before we start cooking, what have we got to do first?

Wash our hands.

Now we've washed our hands, let's get started on our recipe.

Is everybody ready?

ALL: Yeah!

First of all, we need to make the filling

and the first ingredient we're going to use is chicken.

All right, so take the chicken,

and we're going to rip and tear it up and put the pieces into our bowl.

We tear and rip. Make lots of nice small pieces.

There you go. Once you've torn the chicken up,

just pop that to one side.

Can you guess what the next ingredient is? Are you ready?

-Tomato.

-A tomato face, that's right.

Our next ingredient is cherry tomatoes.

Go on, see if you can do a tomato face.

That's a good one. Wow, that's a giant tomato.

My goodness, it's going to burst!

OK, everyone, now take your cup of tomatoes -

we're using scissors to snip them,

but remember - be careful with scissors.

Everybody knows that you point them down towards your...

ALL: Toes.

You've got it. Hold the handle of the cup and let's snip.

Off you go.

Careful, because they can explode!

That was a good one.

Wow!

Ha, the seeds are popping out!

Once you've finished snipping,

we're going to put the tomatoes in with our chicken.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Next we want to add some spice to our chicken

and tomato filling, so we'll add a pinch of paprika.

-There we go, one pinch. And sprinkle it in.

-It's so soft.

It's really soft. Who can say PAPRIKA?

ALL: PAPRIKA!

Excellent. Can you guess what's next?

We're going to use our spoons to give everything

a really good mix.

So off you go.

It's changing colour.

-What colour is it changing to?

-Red.

-Good.

The tomato is making it red.

Yes, Ilyas, that's exactly why.

Can you mix with us, too? Have you got your bowl? That's it.

And then get your spoon. Brilliant.

And then give everything a really good mix. Mix, mix, mix.

Ah, fantastic.

Take the spoon out of your bowl and pop your bowl to one side.

Next, we need to roll pastry to wrap our filling in.

But before we start rolling,

we need to sprinkle flour all over our mat.

Let's get sprinkling! Woo-hoo!

-What does it look like when we sprinkle it out?

-Snow.

It looks like snow! Hee-hee!

All right, everyone, take your pastry

and pop it on your mats and then

roll it until it's a nice, flat rectangle.

You're doing really well. Can you do some rolling, too?

That's it, get a rolling pin and go roll, roll, roll.

Brilliant rolling, well done!

All right, everyone, keep going.

When you've got a big rectangular shape, then you can stop.

-What can we use to cut out four circles?

-This!

Do you know what it is?

-A shape cutter.

-That's a good idea.

Push down, so everyone say PUSH!

ALL: Push!

Then we twist, everyone say TWIST!

ALL: Twist!

There we go. Look at that, we've got a lovely circle there. Fantastic.

Keep going until you've got four circles.

Once you've finished cutting them out, take the pastry

from the edge and we can pop that to one side.

So next, we're going to use our brushes.

We're going to dip them in water and then

dip-dap the water all around the edges of our pastry circles.

Dip-dap, dip-dap, dip. It's like a funny language.

ALL: Dip-dap-dip-dap-dip.

We're going to fill our pastry, so grab

your spoons, scoop up some of the filling and put it in the middle.

Then take the rest of the mixture

and put it on each of the other pieces of pastry.

And next, we need to fold the pastry over the mixture,

like a little pastry blanket to keep it nice and warm.

So we're going to fold it over, like this,

and then use your fingers to squeeze the sides.

It looks like a smile. Really squeeze!

Let's count them onto our trays, OK?

ALL: One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Just dip-dab some water on top of your smiles.

This is going to make them really shiny when they go in the oven.

Dip-dab-dip-dab.

And that is it. You've done it, team.

You've made chicken and tomato smiles all by yourself.

All we've got to do now is pop them in the oven.

Oh, they look good, Diondre. They're brilliant, Ilyas. Well done, guys.

Now, remember, the oven is hot, so don't go near.

You need to ask a grown-up to help you here.

These shouldn't take very long to cook.
