Well, it's delicious. Today's recipe is mini cheese munchies.

Look at this.

ALL: Ooooh. Mmm.

Looks good. Before we cook them,

we've got to do something really important.

-What do you think it is?

-ALL: Wash our hands!

You've got it, we need to wash our hands. Come on, team. Let's go.

Let's get started on our mini cheese munchies.

First, we need an egg.

Eggs come from all sorts of different animals.

They can come from dinosaurs, or crocodiles, or chickens.

Does an egg like this

-come from a dinosaur?

-ALL: No.

-Does it come from a crocodile?

-No.

-Does it come from a chicken?

-Yes!

You got it. Who can pretend to be a chicken?

ALL: Sqwark-sqwark-sqwark!

Let's crack this egg. Hold the handle of our cup, like that.

And you're going to go knock, until you make a crack in the egg.

-Bit harder.

-Knock, knock.

That's it. And then use your fingers to open it up.

Put your fingers into the crack in the egg.

Quick, get it all in the cup!

-It's coming out!

-Aaah!

-Wooo!

Good job, Ayub.

Let's give our hands a quick wipe to get all the egginess of them.

And now, it's time to do some whisking.

Take your fork, hold the handle of your cup.

This is something that you can join in with at home.

You need a cup. A fork. And you go, whisk, whisk, whisk.

You've got it. OK, team, a-one-two-three. Let's go!

Woo-hoo!

-Ha-ha! It's all gooey.

-Very gooey.

And stop, everybody. Let's see if your mixture is gloopy enough.

Eurgh! That's gloopy.

The next thing to do is to measure some polenta.

This is polenta that we've got in this bowl.

-What does the polenta look like?

-Scotch egg.

Like a Scotch egg. Yeah.

-It looks like sand.

-I think it looks like pirate treasure.

Ha-hargh!

Who can pretend to be a pirate?

-Ha-haargh!

-M'hearties.

-Now, who wants to do some measuring?

-Me.

-I do.

Now, we are going to measure out one tablespoon of polenta.

So, take your tablespoon and dive into the bowl.

And take a big mountain.

You're going to get your fingers and tap it down,

till it's flat.

Then pour the polenta into your egg mixture.

And then you just want to whisk the egg with the polenta.

-Ewww.

-Looks all gooey.

Stop whisking!

What ingredient are we going to need next in our mini cheese munchies?

What's next? Well, let us see if you can guess what it could be.

So, what have we got? A lime. Some spinach.

And lovely, juicy strawberries.

What would you choose for our mini cheese munchies?

I'll give you some clues and you can try and guess what it might be.

The first clue is that the special ingredient is green.

Well, strawberries are red, aren't they? So, we can take that one away.

OK, here's another clue for you.

The special ingredient is green and it's a vegetable.

Limes are green, but they're a citrus fruit.

So, we can take that one away too.

There we go. Which leaves us with spinach.

We're going to need some spinach for our mini cheese munchies.

And I went to find some.

I've come to a farm in Dorset to find out how spinach is grown

and collected.

To grow spinach, the first thing you have to do is plant the seeds.

And there are millions and millions of them.

This tractor drills these seeds into the ground.

This spinach has been growing for a few weeks.

And look how big it is already!

The spinach is now ready to be collected,

and this is called harvesting.

I'm going to drive this spinach harvesting machine!

-Everybody ready?

-Yes.

-Yes.

Wow. Look at all this lovely fresh spinach.

We're going to put some of this in a bag.

We just need to take a couple of handfuls of it.

I think we've got enough spinach.

This is going to taste great in our mini cheese munchies.

Riding that machine was actually quite tricky.

We did get plenty of spinach and we've got it here,

ready to use in our recipe.

Pick off the stalk and put the leaf into the bowl.

So, let's get picking.

Some of them haven't got stalks on, actually.

Okey-dokey! We are done.

Next, we're going to do some snipping.

And we're going to snip using our...

ALL: Scissors!

Be safe with scissors.

Everybody knows, we point them towards our...

-ALL: Toes!

-You've got it.

-And a-snip-snip-snip.

-Snip-snip-snip.

-And a snip-snip-snip.

-And a snip-snip-snip.

-Can you do some snipping too?

Have you got your scissors?

That's it. And then go like this. Snip-snip-snippety-snip.

Put your scissors down.

We have finished our snipping adventure.

We're going to add some of this. It's cottage cheese.

And we're going to gloop it into our bowls. Glooooo-oop.

Gloooo... It's not coming in, cos it's too stuck.

Give it a little shake, like me.

We're going to add some chilli powder, which is going to add

a nice strong flavour to our mini cheese munchies.

-Who can go, hot-hot-hot?

-Hot-hot-hot.

-I said, a-hot-hot-hot.

Hot-hot-hot.

-Go hot-hot-hot.

-Hot-hot-hot.

-Hot-hot-hot...

Hot-hot-hot-hot...

To add our chilli powder, we need our pinchy parrot.

To make a pinchy parrot, put your thumb down.

Then put your two fingers on top. And you do a big sqwark. Sqwark!

Sqwark!

Pinchy parrot's hungry,

so he's going to take a pinch of chilli powder...

-and sprinkle it in.

-Pinch! Sprinkle!

It's important that we don't put our fingers

near our eyes after we've touched chilli powder.

We're going to give our hands a wipe, just to be safe.

We're going to add another pinch.

We're going to add a pinch of black pepper.

Get your pinchy parrots.

Take a pinch of black pepper. Sprinkle that into your bowl.

Next, we're going to add our eggy mixture to the bowl.

After three, everyone, let's go splash. OK?

And you can do a big splash with us too. A-one-two-three.

ALL: Splash!

And then give everything in this bowl a really good mix.

-So, let's get mixing, everybody.

-It looks funny.

We're going to measure out some flour.

And we're going to measure out three tablespoons full of flour.

Get your tablespoon, dip it into the flour

and make a big flour mountain.

We're going to pat this down, like a sandcastle.

-So, everyone go, pat-pat-pat.

-Pat-pat-pat.

-That's it.

Let's put this into our bowl.

And then you just need to do two more, like that.

-Wait. One more.

-Pat-pat-pat.

Now, it's time to mix it up.

-Yay!

-That's it, everyone. Let's get mixing.

-Do-do do-do-do.

And, finally, we're going to play the two-spoon game.

And to play the two-spoon game,

you take a spoonful of your mixture with one spoon.

And then take the other spoon

and slide it off into one of the muffin cases.

So, we scoop and slide.

And that is it. You did it! You put all the ingredients

together for your mini cheese munchies by yourself.

Now, it's time to put them in the oven.

But remember, ovens are hot, so don't go near.
