Hey, guys. Welcome to Lessons In The Lounge.

We just sang a song that was originally sung by the boy band,

but we made our own little band for Jam Sessions, so let's talk about

what it's like to be in a band.

I think one of the most important

things is definitely to make that

connection and to, kind of, vibe on

a really personal level with everybody you're working with.

-So it's important to feel that...connection.

-Like a family.

-Yeah.

-And even if you are... if you all have different styles,

I feel like as long as you're listening to each other

and you know what everyone else is about,

everyone can come together and make, like, a cool new sound.

Sometimes it's even so cool to have people who DO have different

strengths in different genres, because...

-We're into such different stuff.

-I know. We're so different.

Yeah, different voices. Cos you end up taking stuff from each other

and learning things that maybe you wouldn't have otherwise.

It does sound really cool with all the different style voices, yeah.

So long as you listen to each other,

you find your sound,

and you're ready to take what comes,

-you can be a band.

-I totally agree.

I think that those are really the core three things that

being a solid band boil down to.

Yeah, totally.
