0:00:320:00:34

Woo!

0:00:350:00:37

# What would you call me if you called me on the telephone?

0:00:370:00:42

# Because my name's always been the same but you never know

0:00:440:00:48

# There's a pageant I'm in that I always win

0:00:500:00:53

# And the sash across me says "Miss Invisible"

0:00:530:00:59

# Hides from you in plain sight Miss Invisible

0:00:590:01:04

# Can't even see her in the spotlight

0:01:040:01:07

# Miss Invisible

0:01:070:01:11

# Playing her chords for the shadows

0:01:110:01:14

# Till the walls come down you'll know

0:01:140:01:17

# Miss Invisible

0:01:170:01:18

# Ooh

0:01:180:01:21

# Miss Invisible

0:01:210:01:22

-# Ooh

-Yo!

0:01:240:01:26

-# Miss Invisible

-Yo!

0:01:260:01:28

# Lord, Lord Invisibility is humility

0:01:280:01:32

# Not from your eyes From what I see

0:01:320:01:35

# Cos I know what it is to be alone

0:01:350:01:37

# But you never know what it is to be on the other side of that phone

0:01:370:01:40

# But just rock with me Pupils begin to dilate

0:01:400:01:43

# All out on my plate

0:01:430:01:45

# I thank God cos I know that this is my fate

0:01:450:01:48

# And then we bring it back again and again and then we

0:01:480:01:51

-# And then we bring it back again and again and then we

-I'm saying ooh

0:01:510:01:54

# And then we bring it back again and again and then we

0:01:540:01:56

# And then we bring it back again and again and then we

0:01:560:01:58

# Yeah, OK, now, oh

0:01:580:02:00

# And then we bring it back again and again and then we

0:02:000:02:02

-# And then we bring it back again and again

-We slow it down now

0:02:020:02:04

# What would you say if I never played another note?

0:02:040:02:09

-# Hey!

-Maybe later you're a sailor that missed the boat

-Hey!

0:02:090:02:16

# There's a pageant I'm in that I always win

0:02:160:02:18

-# And the sash across me says

-What it say?

0:02:180:02:21

# "Miss Invisible"

0:02:210:02:24

# I'll hide from you in plain sight

0:02:240:02:27

# Miss Invisible

0:02:270:02:29

# Can't even see her in the spotlight

0:02:290:02:32

# Miss Invisible

0:02:320:02:36

-# I'm playing my chords for the shadows

-Hey!

0:02:360:02:38

# Till the walls come down You'll know Miss Invisible

0:02:380:02:43

# Ooh, Miss Invisible

0:02:430:02:46

# And then we bring it back again and again and then we

0:02:460:02:48

# Ooh, Miss Invisible

0:02:480:02:52

# And then we bring it back again and again and then we

0:02:520:02:54

# Ooh, Miss Invisible. #

0:02:540:03:00

-Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

-Woo!

0:03:000:03:03

And now I'm about to give you guys a little lesson

0:03:100:03:12

in the lounge on how to rap.

0:03:120:03:14

When rapping, you always need to rhyme. Always, first and foremost.

0:03:140:03:18

And if you don't rhyme and if you don't rhyme strongly,

0:03:180:03:21

then people will not come back to your song to listen to you.

0:03:210:03:24

Now, the first thing about rhyming is you always want to rhyme

0:03:240:03:26

the most simplest things. And why I say simple?

0:03:260:03:29

Because it's the first thing that'll ring in people's brain. You feel me?

0:03:290:03:32

And if makes sense, then you'll understand what I'm talking about.

0:03:320:03:35

Now, another thing with rapping is you always want to be different

0:03:350:03:38

from everybody else.

0:03:380:03:39

Everybody will categorise you into one category

0:03:390:03:41

but you don't want that, you don't want that.

0:03:410:03:43

You want to rap fast, you want to rap slow.

0:03:430:03:45

Literally, you want to be different. It's simple as that -

0:03:450:03:48

and if you're not different, everybody will just say

0:03:480:03:50

that you're the same and you don't want that.

0:03:500:03:52

Now, for the rap that I did for Miss Invisible,

0:03:520:03:54

I had to rap a little bit faster.

0:03:540:03:56

The song has a slower tempo to it

0:03:560:03:58

and because it has a slower tempo to it,

0:03:580:04:00

I need to make people be like, "Yo...this guy's moving quick!

0:04:000:04:02

"OK, and now I need to keep up."

0:04:020:04:04

If you got to keep up with me, now you're chasing me.

0:04:040:04:07

Why? Because my music is pulling you.

0:04:070:04:09

And that's pretty much the basics

0:04:090:04:11

or what you always want to keep in mind

0:04:110:04:13

when learning how to rap or when making your own raps.
