It's great to be back!

0:00:020:00:04

My name's Matilda.

0:00:040:00:06

ALL: Tilly!

0:00:060:00:07

But people call me Tilly.

0:00:070:00:08

-Tilly!

-Tilly!

0:00:100:00:11

I'm crazy about cooking...

0:00:110:00:13

Mmm.

0:00:130:00:15

Deliciousness! Om-nom!

0:00:150:00:17

..mad to mess about...

0:00:170:00:20

..and I've got the most embarrassing family ever!

0:00:220:00:25

ALL: Says who?

0:00:250:00:26

-Is it true you have a boyfriend?

-Yay!

0:00:260:00:29

"Says who?"

0:00:300:00:32

I didn't use your recipe!

0:00:320:00:33

Dad's a chef.

0:00:330:00:35

Matilda, where's my frying pan, please?

0:00:350:00:37

But I've taken over the kitchen in this house.

0:00:370:00:39

-What are you doing?

-I'm looking for my frying pan.

0:00:390:00:41

Tilly rules, OK?

0:00:410:00:43

HE MAKES CHICKEN SOUND

0:00:430:00:45

We're down in rocky Cornwall, which is great for us action-mad Ramsays.

0:00:500:00:54

SHE SCREAMS

0:00:550:00:57

-Today, it's a full-on girls' day out.

-Hooray!

0:00:570:01:01

We're going coasteering,

0:01:010:01:03

plunging into the sea from the rocky coastline.

0:01:030:01:07

Oh, it's going to be exciting. I can't wait.

0:01:070:01:09

But the big question is...

0:01:090:01:11

First, Dad, Mum and me are off to the beach to give our new puppy,

0:01:150:01:19

Bruno, a taste of Ramsay action.

0:01:190:01:21

His first ever swimming lesson.

0:01:210:01:24

-Are you ready for an adventure?

-Ready for a life jacket?

0:01:240:01:27

You put your life vest on.

0:01:270:01:29

Us Ramsays are crazy about swimming,

0:01:290:01:32

but Bruno's not experienced the sea before today.

0:01:320:01:35

-Are you ready for your first swim, young man?

-Yay!

-Come on.

0:01:350:01:38

Yeah!

0:01:380:01:39

Bruno in a life jacket is so sweet!

0:01:410:01:44

-Good boy!

-Where's my life jacket?

0:01:450:01:48

-You don't need one!

-Where's YOUR life jacket?

0:01:480:01:51

Bruno's only got tiny legs, but he's doing brilliantly!

0:01:510:01:54

-Oh, you good boy!

-Good boy.

0:01:540:01:57

I think Bruno really liked his first swimming lesson.

0:01:570:02:00

-He's a bit chilly now, because of the wind.

-He needs a hot chocolate.

0:02:000:02:03

Come on. Dad and Jack are leaving Cornwall to go back home.

0:02:030:02:07

And for our girls-only action adventure,

0:02:070:02:09

I'm cooking up a brilliant energy-packed picnic.

0:02:090:02:12

(Mum's coming!)

0:02:130:02:15

A super-healthy fruity smoothie,

0:02:150:02:17

brilliant black hummus with crunchy vegetables

0:02:170:02:21

and because we're in Cornwall, I'm making Cornish pasties.

0:02:210:02:25

Half is sweet and half is savoury.

0:02:250:02:27

It's like a whole meal in one.

0:02:270:02:29

And this is how they sometimes used to make them here.

0:02:290:02:32

This is my Tilly version.

0:02:320:02:35

First, add minced beef to chopped potato, swede and onion.

0:02:350:02:38

Then, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and mix.

0:02:380:02:42

-Hello!

-Hi, Mum.

-Ooh, what's in there?

0:02:430:02:47

-This is for the savoury side of my Cornish pasties.

-Oh, yum.

0:02:470:02:51

But these pasties have a twist to them.

0:02:510:02:53

Because they've got a savoury side and a sweet side.

0:02:530:02:56

Good idea! Oh, I look forward to it, Till.

0:02:560:02:59

Even daredevils have to wash their hands in the kitchen. Me included.

0:02:590:03:03

Now roll out the shortcrust pastry.

0:03:040:03:07

Putting flour on the rolling pin,

0:03:070:03:09

it'll stop it from sticking to the pastry.

0:03:090:03:12

Next, cut out circles.

0:03:120:03:14

I'm going to use this plate as a template.

0:03:140:03:16

Perfect.

0:03:170:03:19

Start by putting in some savoury mixture.

0:03:210:03:24

Keep it to one side, so there's nothing to fold over.

0:03:240:03:28

Savoury side done, now the sweet side.

0:03:280:03:30

Chopped apple, cinnamon and sugar.

0:03:300:03:33

Fold this over.

0:03:330:03:35

Pinch the edges together.

0:03:350:03:37

And this just keeps it shut.

0:03:370:03:40

I'm just going to put two little holes, one here...

0:03:400:03:44

and one here.

0:03:440:03:45

These two holes are going to let the steam out when they cook.

0:03:450:03:49

The next one.

0:03:490:03:51

I think everyone's going to love these.

0:03:530:03:56

Then paint your pasties with beaten egg yolk.

0:03:560:03:59

The egg wash will make it really golden and crispy.

0:03:590:04:02

Bung in a hot oven for 25-30 minutes.

0:04:020:04:06

Don't forget to tell your parents if you're using hot stuff,

0:04:060:04:09

even if you know what you're doing.

0:04:090:04:11

Mm-hm! They look and smell amazing.

0:04:110:04:14

I'm going to get some pictures of these for my blog.

0:04:140:04:18

You can check out my recipes and blog on the CBBC website.

0:04:180:04:21

After Bruno's triumph in the Cornish sea,

0:04:240:04:26

he's passed out in the living room.

0:04:260:04:28

I wonder if he's dreaming about winning Olympic gold

0:04:290:04:32

in the doggy paddle?

0:04:320:04:33

I love puppies.

0:04:350:04:36

My smoothies should be perfect for our big coasteering adventure.

0:04:420:04:46

-What will you put there?

-The tree off the top of the strawberry.

0:04:480:04:52

The tree. Looks like a tree.

0:04:520:04:54

Definitely gets done quicker with two people.

0:04:540:04:57

So, Hols, what's your favourite smoothie?

0:04:570:04:59

I like a smoothie with some peach, mango, strawberries and raspberries.

0:04:590:05:04

Ooh, that sounds like a good smoothie.

0:05:040:05:07

-What's yours?

-I love this one because it gives nice energy.

0:05:070:05:10

Last one.

0:05:100:05:11

For me.

0:05:110:05:12

Holly!

0:05:120:05:13

Next, chop bananas and blitz.

0:05:130:05:15

So, Hols, bee pollen.

0:05:180:05:19

What's bee pollen?

0:05:190:05:20

Do you want to try some? It tastes quite sweet.

0:05:200:05:22

If you haven't got bee pollen,

0:05:220:05:24

a spoonful of honey is really delicious, too.

0:05:240:05:26

Then add apple juice and soaked chia seeds.

0:05:270:05:30

Leave that to blend up for a while.

0:05:300:05:32

Mmm, that's yummy.

0:05:350:05:36

So, if you pour it...

0:05:360:05:38

A funnel helps.

0:05:380:05:39

You're so messy.

0:05:390:05:40

But you should stop before it gets full.

0:05:400:05:43

Duh!

0:05:430:05:44

Volcano! THEY LAUGH

0:05:440:05:47

This is fun.

0:05:470:05:48

I like cooking with you.

0:05:480:05:50

You're messy.

0:05:500:05:51

Bleugh!

0:05:510:05:53

Let's get a selfie with it, Hol.

0:05:530:05:57

-Oo-oh...

-Trust me, trust me.

0:05:570:05:59

Better get this mess cleaned up before Mum sees it!

0:05:590:06:02

Hi, Mum.

0:06:050:06:07

Are you making a mess?

0:06:070:06:08

There's nothing to see here.

0:06:090:06:11

You just stay there and it'll be OK.

0:06:110:06:13

Meg's best friend Emma is staying with us.

0:06:160:06:18

She's coming coasteering, too.

0:06:180:06:21

Em, why don't we take a selfie?

0:06:210:06:22

Yeah!

0:06:220:06:23

It's going to be a full-on adrenaline rush for all us girls.

0:06:250:06:29

Time to crack on with my black hummus.

0:06:290:06:32

It's really easy and really delicious.

0:06:320:06:35

Especially when it's eaten with crunchy vegetable sticks.

0:06:350:06:38

First, start by adding cooked black beans into the blender.

0:06:380:06:44

Then, I'm going to add in my ground coriander.

0:06:440:06:47

It smells nice.

0:06:470:06:48

And my ground cumin.

0:06:480:06:51

Next, add chopped garlic,

0:06:510:06:53

lemon juice

0:06:530:06:54

and blitz.

0:06:540:06:55

Then, drizzle in olive oil.

0:06:560:06:58

It's going to go nice and smooth.

0:06:580:07:00

Add salt and pepper and give it one last whizz.

0:07:010:07:04

That should be perfect.

0:07:060:07:08

Sprinkle over some sesame seeds.

0:07:100:07:12

This will give it a sort of nutty taste and make it really delicious.

0:07:120:07:16

Got some red pepper, some carrot,

0:07:170:07:20

some orange pepper and some cucumber.

0:07:200:07:21

Mmm. That's good.

0:07:230:07:25

I'm going to take some pictures for my blog.

0:07:250:07:27

Time to pack the picnic.

0:07:320:07:33

I'm raring to get coasteering.

0:07:330:07:36

Come on, guys, time to go.

0:07:360:07:38

Come on.

0:07:390:07:41

-Let's go.

-OK.

-Faster, faster, faster.

0:07:410:07:44

Shoes on.

0:07:440:07:45

Come on, Meg.

0:07:460:07:48

We're going to leave!

0:07:480:07:49

The gang's all here and wetsuited up.

0:07:580:08:01

Us girls mean business

0:08:010:08:04

and I've got just the thing to help us tackle super-scary coasteering.

0:08:040:08:09

So, guys, this is my energy smoothie.

0:08:090:08:11

'And we're going to need it cos it's freezing and windy!'

0:08:110:08:14

The colder it is out here, the warmer it is in.

0:08:140:08:17

But it looks very choppy and scary.

0:08:170:08:19

'I wonder who's going to scream the loudest.

0:08:190:08:21

'My money's on Mum.'

0:08:210:08:23

-I'm excited.

-I'm scared.

-I'm excited.

0:08:230:08:26

I'm terrified!

0:08:260:08:27

'Told you!'

0:08:270:08:28

-Holly, we will see you later.

-Have fun.

0:08:280:08:31

Bye, Hols.

0:08:310:08:32

Holly's not into heights,

0:08:320:08:35

so she's bailing out and looking after the picnic.

0:08:350:08:37

We're going to be jumping off these cliffs into the sea,

0:08:390:08:42

so we've got to have helmets and all the gear.

0:08:420:08:44

Of course, to be safe, you need expert supervision,

0:08:440:08:47

and we've got Jake to keep us out of danger.

0:08:470:08:50

Put one hand across,

0:08:500:08:52

two hands across, holding on to the buoyancy aid, like so.

0:08:520:08:55

Tuck our elbows in nice and tight, guys.

0:08:550:08:57

Does that make sense?

0:08:570:08:59

Who's going in first?

0:08:590:09:00

-You!

-Woo!

0:09:000:09:01

It's going to be so fun!

0:09:010:09:03

Launch time!

0:09:040:09:06

That's me in and it's absolutely freezing.

0:09:090:09:13

Next to take the plunge, Emma and Meg.

0:09:130:09:15

Megan's coming! THEY LAUGH

0:09:170:09:21

Megan, you look like a cold dumpling.

0:09:210:09:23

Argh!

0:09:230:09:24

Last in, Mum.

0:09:240:09:26

Oh, yikes.

0:09:280:09:29

They're so brave.

0:09:290:09:31

The water looks so cold.

0:09:310:09:32

Ooh!

0:09:320:09:34

OK, then, girls, we're going to go for a little swim.

0:09:340:09:37

Time to go exploring.

0:09:370:09:38

Woo!

0:09:410:09:43

They've just gone in Merlin's Cave.

0:09:450:09:47

Above us is Tintagel Castle,

0:09:480:09:50

which is linked to King Arthur,

0:09:500:09:52

and this cave reputedly belonged to his wizard Merlin.

0:09:520:09:56

The Cornish coast is so extraordinary.

0:09:560:09:58

Emma, you've got seaweed on your face.

0:10:000:10:02

-I've got what?

-Seaweed! THEY LAUGH

0:10:020:10:05

Exploring over and helmet cam at the ready,

0:10:050:10:08

it's time to get climbing for the first jump.

0:10:080:10:11

Grab an arm if you need to.

0:10:120:10:13

Good.

0:10:130:10:14

We're starting with a small one.

0:10:160:10:18

Here we go!

0:10:270:10:29

Whoa, scary!

0:10:310:10:33

OK.

0:10:340:10:35

It's really fun.

0:10:420:10:44

SHE LAUGHS

0:10:440:10:46

That was hard work but great.

0:10:520:10:54

We're climbing even higher for the second jump.

0:10:570:10:59

Whoa!

0:11:100:11:11

SHE SCREAMS

0:11:170:11:19

Yay, girl power!

0:11:210:11:23

SHE SCREAMS

0:11:250:11:27

We're just like penguins!

0:11:270:11:29

Woo!

0:11:300:11:31

Now for the last jump...

0:11:340:11:35

Wow, it's so high.

0:11:380:11:41

Me first.

0:11:410:11:42

Woo!

0:11:470:11:48

This is amazing.

0:11:510:11:52

But obviously don't go jumping off of any cliffs

0:11:520:11:54

without an expert like Jake.

0:11:540:11:56

-Woo!

-That is scary.

0:11:570:12:00

Will Mum do it?

0:12:000:12:01

HEART BEATS

0:12:030:12:05

Three...

0:12:060:12:07

two...

0:12:070:12:08

one...

0:12:080:12:10

Go!

0:12:100:12:11

Aw, this is awful!

0:12:110:12:13

This is so hideous.

0:12:130:12:14

Count to three for me.

0:12:160:12:18

One...two...three...

0:12:180:12:20

Go, Mum!

0:12:210:12:22

I'm so happy that's not me.

0:12:260:12:28

Woohoo!

0:12:300:12:32

Never again.

0:12:320:12:33

Woo!

0:12:380:12:39

That was so terrifying.

0:12:390:12:40

I thought I'd be quite brave but it's more terrifying than I thought.

0:12:400:12:44

Holly's in charge of getting us refuelled.

0:12:450:12:48

Nice jumping, everyone.

0:12:480:12:50

Oh!

0:12:500:12:51

Here's some food.

0:12:510:12:52

Oh, wow, here we go.

0:12:520:12:54

Shall I put this here, girls, you can all help yourselves?

0:12:540:12:56

Guys, these Cornish pasties are half sweet and half savoury.

0:12:560:12:59

Really nice. I don't know about you but I certainly feel

0:12:590:13:02

we've earned our food.

0:13:020:13:04

Dip in, guys.

0:13:040:13:05

This is so good, Tilly.

0:13:080:13:10

Is it just me or was that last jump the hardest?

0:13:100:13:13

That was a lot higher.

0:13:130:13:15

For once, you're very quiet.

0:13:150:13:16

I'm just a bit cold. MUM LAUGHS

0:13:160:13:19

The boys have missed out on a very good trip today.

0:13:190:13:21

Three cheers for the Ramsay girls and Ems, daredevils!

0:13:210:13:24

-Hip, hip...

-Hooray!

0:13:240:13:25

-Hip, hip...

-Hooray!

-Hip, hip...

-Hooray!

0:13:250:13:28

I screamed all the way through today,

0:13:300:13:33

but I loved every minute.

0:13:330:13:35

Dad and Jack think they're the kings of action

0:13:350:13:38

but us girls have definitely outdone them.

0:13:380:13:40

Ah!

0:13:400:13:42

I can't wait to call Jack and Dad and tell them all about it.

0:13:420:13:45

Hey, guys.

0:13:460:13:47

Hi, Tills.

0:13:470:13:49

We had a brilliant day.

0:13:490:13:51

How far were you dropping down?

0:13:510:13:52

Two, three metres?

0:13:520:13:54

Five metres.

0:13:540:13:55

Wow, and did you go into any caves?

0:13:550:13:57

We went in this really cool cave, actually.

0:13:570:13:59

Wow. Well, what kind of food did you cook?

0:13:590:14:01

We had an energy smoothie.

0:14:010:14:03

It was nice and simple and it just gave us some energy

0:14:030:14:05

and it was very healthy.

0:14:050:14:06

And then what about the main course?

0:14:060:14:08

We had black hummus with really healthy veg chips

0:14:080:14:11

and we had a Cornish pasty that was half sweet and half savoury,

0:14:110:14:15

so it was like an all in one.

0:14:150:14:16

So, savoury one end and sweet the other?

0:14:160:14:19

-You can't do that to a Cornish pasty!

-Tilly!

0:14:190:14:21

And how did it go down?

0:14:210:14:23

Everyone loved it.

0:14:230:14:24

Stop it. Which part? The sweet part or the savoury part?

0:14:240:14:27

All of it, obviously.

0:14:270:14:29

The jury's out on that one, OK?

0:14:290:14:31

It's probably because it wasn't your idea.

0:14:310:14:33

Madam! Don't start that with me.

0:14:330:14:36

OK, Dad, I've got to go.

0:14:360:14:37

Goodbye, I love you.

0:14:370:14:38

Goodnight, guys.

0:14:430:14:44

Who's jumping in the bath?

0:14:460:14:49

It's Bruno, he's soapsteering!

0:14:490:14:51

DOG BARKS

0:14:510:14:53

Everyone, it's time to dive into bed.

0:14:530:14:56

Goodnight.

0:14:560:14:57
