At 6 o'clock, I took Kai to Granny Murray's

and the children dressed Claude as a goalkeeper to celebrate Kai's goal.

I showed Granny Murray a pair of gloves I bought in the sale.

I felt so silly when they turned out to be socks.

At 7 o'clock, I arrived at work.

I was still excited about Kai's goal and I pretended to play football.

Rudi and Louis arrived with the fruit and decorations for the fruit bus.

At 8 o'clock Dr Juno and Chuck arrived.

Dr Juno gave me a special fruity rhyme for the driver,

then went off on her night shift leaving Chuck in charge.

At 10 o'clock, I went to help Chuck.

She'd done a fantastic job on her own,

but she'd forgotten to put the stickers on the outside of the bus.

She was tired from her hard work, so I said I'd stick them on for her.

I was in such a hurry to get them up,

I didn't concentrate on what I was doing.

At 11 o'clock, when Dr Juno turned up, she couldn't tell which fruit was which.

I caught the second one between the toes of my socks.

Just before he went to sleep, we played a wooden shape fitting game.

He was doing this at the same time

as Bobby was trying to fit together the stickers on the fruit bus.
