Huh! It's 11 o'clock. I've been so busy helping other people out

that I never got to the shop to get Kai's present.

Where did the time go?

At six o'clock, I took Kai to Granny Murray's.

They were playing hopscotch.

I told Granny Murray that Kai was a superhero and remembered my keys.

Claude was dressed as a superhero.

At seven o'clock,

I started work. I found a remote control on the bus

and put it in my bag.

Then I heard footsteps upstairs

and I got scared. Rudi arrived just then

and he came with me to see what was going on. We found a robot.

At eight o'clock,

Mickey John came to see the robot. He loved it.

At ten o'clock, it was my break

and I was ready to go and buy Kai a present, when Tina arrived.

She said there was a toy fair in Riverseafingal

and that the robot might belong to someone there. She went to find out.

At 11 o'clock,

Tina came back. She'd found the robot's owner.

She said she'd take it to Tomoko. We had to fill in a lost property form.

I said goodbye to the robot,

but it was too late to go to the shops for Kai's present.

He saved his mum from locking them out.

Kai and I made a robot costume for him.

He was a brilliant robot!

And I made him move around with my remote control.

And I made a storybook for him called Wheelie The Robot.

And while we were doing that, Bobby was making a present for Kai -

a fantastic robot!
