I've been working hard all night.

I've a big mess to clean in the depot

and there's this huge thunderstorm going on.

At five o'clock, Kai and I arrived at Granny Murray's.

The children dressed Claude in a pair of big trousers.

He did look funny!

I told Granny Murray there may be a thunderstorm later

and that Kai might be a bit scared.

But the truth is, it's me that doesn't like thunder.

Kai gave me a funny hat. It made Granny Murray laugh.

At six o'clock, Rudi came to visit me at my workplace.

He was full of fun and games.

He brought a fruit smoothie

to help keep me cool while I worked.

At seven o'clock, Dr Juno stopped by.

She gave me a bottle of water to keep me cool.

We both had a sip of Rudi's smoothie.

We got it around our mouths and it made us both look funny.

At nine o'clock I spotted a big mess of spilt paint all over the floor.

I was looking for some clothes to keep clean while I mopped up,

when the thunder started.

The thunder was very loud and rain drummed on the roof.

It was really noisy and I was scared.

At ten o'clock, Tina came to the bus depot.

She didn't like being out in the storm and was scared of thunder too.

Well, what was really special about today?

later in the evening. She said Kai may be a bit scared

but it was really Bobby who was scared of thunder.

I told her not to worry, to have fun.

After Bobby set off to work, I made wobbly dolls with Kai.

They made us laugh and laugh.

Later on, there was a big thunderstorm

and while the thunder rumbled, our two wobbly dolls did a funny dance.

Kai thought it was brilliant.

Meanwhile, Bobby remembered what I said.

So Bobby dressed up as a wobbly person

and got on with her work in a funny, wobbly way.

Bobby and Tina had a right old laugh

and before they knew it, the thunderstorm had passed.

All quiet now,

but I'm rather hoping for another thunderstorm.
