Now that the kittens are eating solid food,
they need to learn proper toilet training.
The owner is putting down a tray and filling it with cat litter.
This is the litter tray.
What will the kittens think?
What is it?
I'm not sure.
Mum? Mum? There's a funny tray thing downstairs
filled with something and I don't think it's food.
Let's go and have a look.
Oh, it's the litter tray.
You have to use it to go to the toilet.
Ugh! I'm not using that. I'm off to play upstairs.
I sense something exciting is going to happen.
Look, I knew it.
There's something coming towards me. Oh, what is it?
And what's that?
Why is that running away from me?
What's that snaky thing?
What are those?
They're toys and they're being used to get the kittens
interested in things they've never seen before.
Like play fighting, toys help the kittens to react quickly
and also teach them hunting and chasing skills.
Mum, Cleo, comes in to keep an eye on the kittens,
but they're already having fun.
Are you ready to have some fun watching them? Yes?
Here we go.
You can see that the kittens are learning fast
as they attempt to catch and um...
SHE LAUGHS eat the toys.
They also help to develop their speed, agility
and, of course...
Oh, it's too much. I'm off for a rest.
Mums, Coco and Cleo, are tired just from watching.
So imagine how the kittens feel.
Yes, sleepy again. MEOW
But the kittens have made such a mess
that the cleaner has to come in.
Ooh. Aah. This is interesting.
No, it's boring.
Ooh, time for a quick snooze.
But there's another stranger in the house.
This kitten is going to investigate.
Ooh. Smells dusty.
Coco knows what it is and runs away.
Why? What is it? What is it, Mum?
This is why...
HOOVER SOUNDS MEOW MEOW MEOW
Oh, it's stopped. I hope.
Is it safe?
Ooh! I don't know, but I'm sticking here.
The coast is clear.
Are you sure?
till next time.
This kitten sees what the cleaner has done.
Wow! Look what's happened! That's much better.
There's only one thing to do after all that excitement...
Remember, cats like to clean themselves to get rid of dirt
and keep their coats nice and shiny.
Some are even learning to wash each other now.
But sometimes it's hard to wash when all your sister wants to do is play.
Oh, go on, then. Have a play.
I wonder what the kittens will learn about next time.
Having a kitten is a huge, time-consuming responsibility
