Hello, Coco. Where are you off to this morning?
I'm off to the kitchen. I'm hungry.
Come on, keep up.
Ah. You've caught up with me. Well done.
You see that?
It says, 'cat food.'
And, "cat biscuits." Oh, but the lid's on.
Oh, I can't get in.
Why do they do that?
Oh, I wonder if there's anything else that's open
that I can grab a quick snack.
Oh, looks like I'll have to wait.
The owner's children have come home from school.
And they want to play with the kittens.
They love being stroked.
And touching their paws,
ears and mouth
gets them used to our hands.
BOING BOING BOING BOING
In a few weeks, the kittens will be off to new homes.
So the owner is going to take some photos to get people
interested in giving them a home.
Mum Cleo checks everything
and then the kittens pose for photos.
But the kittens aren't very interested in being photographed.
They want to play!
Oh-hoo! Look out.
Oh, no! Not again?
Oh, no. It wasn't me, no.
A big cat did it and ran away.
One of the owner's children wants to send an e-mail
to let people know that the kittens are looking for homes.
She types, "Kittens for rehoming."
But then thinks, "Hmm, rehoming isn't quite the right word."
"Kittens needing a loving home."
Now that sounds better.
She wants the kittens to go to good homes
where they'll be well looked after.
She adds some pictures and now has a flyer
that can be e-mailed to anyone interested in getting a kitten.
Meanwhile, poor Coco.
Instead of being fed she's fed up.
Still no sign of anyone opening these food tins.
The kittens are playing different games.
There's "hide behind the cushions."
There's "walk along the sofa and try not to fall off."
There's "swinging to and fro cos you're stuck."
Oh, just be careful how you land.
However, Mum, Cleo, is finding all this kitten "fun"
very, very tiring.
But what's this?
Oh, Coco. Food at last!
Well I've been waiting long enough.
First some biscuits.
Yum! Is there a topping?
Sachets of chunky food.
Now, hang on, don't be greedy.
Let's take it downstairs.
And there we are. Come on, let's have a feast.
Uh-oh. Everyone's smelt the food and has come to tuck in.
Before long, everyone's eating and poor Coco has been shut out.
Yum, yum, yum.
Oh, Coco. And you waited so patiently.
-Yum, yum, yum.
