Mum and I are going to have a picnic.

Sometimes I can tell where I am by the sounds I hear.

WATER SPLASHES

That's the fountain on the High Street.

HORN TOOTS The car horn makes me jump.

We're near the busy road. I can hear the traffic.

The beeping tells me it's safe to cross.

Once we're in the park, the sounds change.

That's the big trees.

LEAVES RUSTLE

This is where we like to sit.

Fudge loves picnics. Don't you, Fudge?

Let's see what we've got in here.

-Ooh.

-What's this?

-Pear.

-Mm. And this?

-Orange!

-Yes. And what is this?

-A banana!

-Yeah. What have we got in here?

-Carrot sticks.

Lovely. You're going to like this.

-Tomato sandwiches!

-Tomato sandwiches. Let's pop them down.

We've got tomato sandwiches, carrot sticks and fruit. Yummy.

Crisps!

-Yeah, not any old crisps. What are they?

-Prawn cocktail.

From under the sea. Right. Do you want to eat?

BUZZING

Ooh, what's that?

-I think it's a bee, Melody.

-A bee!

I wonder what the bee is doing.

Mum says she might want to join our picnic.

Maybe she likes tomato sandwiches.

-Mummy, do you have any bee music?

-Oh, I do, actually.

And when I hear the fountain, I know we're nearly home.
