'Today, I'm making something for Fudge.

'I'm feeling in my craft box to feel what I can find.

'I've found my flower button! It's my favourite.

'I love feeling all the petals.

'I've found some lovely blue material too. It feels so soft.'

You'll like this, Fudge.

'But what can I make with just a button and material?'

I wish I had some help.

What's the matter, Melody?

I want to make something for Fudge. I don't know how.

-Follow me to the sewing machine.

-You're coming too, Fudge.

'Mummy's sewing machine makes a funny tapping sound.'

TAPPING

-I like that tapping sound.

-That's the needle tapping on the machine.

But he doesn't have any customers because he can't make any shoes.

All his tools are all broken.

The only thing he has left... is a little yellow bow.

The shoemaker wishes with all his heart to make shoes again.

His wish is coming true! His tools are all fixed.

And who's this?

It's elves to make the shoes.

MELODY GASPS

A customer has arrived! The shoemaker is very happy.

He turns to the elves and says, "Thank you very, very much."

You see, thank you are magical words to elves.

Soon, the shop is full of shoes.

Which bring in loads of customers.

But the shoemaker forgets to say thank you.

So, the elves lose their magic.

Why did the elves disappear? The shoemaker knows.

He forgot to say the magic words. He forgot to say thank you.

As a gift, the shoemaker gives the elves his only yellow bow.

The shoemaker promises never to forget to say the magic words again.

Thank you very much.

-Melody, I've got something for you.

-Really?

-It's a belt for Fudge.

-Wow!

-Shall I help you put it on him?

-Yes, please.

'Time to give Fudge his new belt.'

-Can you feel the shape?

-It's a flower!

-That's right. It IS a flower.

-'Oh, Fudge, you do look smart.'

-Thank you, Mummy.

-Oh, thank you, Fudge! You're very welcome.

-I have a surprise for you.

-Really?

Close your eyes. Open your hands.

'I give Mummy a yellow bow that she can wear in her hair.'

Open your eyes! Surprise!

Oh, thank you, Melody! It's beautiful.
