I always keep it handy, in case I'm feeling a bit cold.

Oh, dear, but look, it's falling apart.

Don't worry, though, Mimi, that's just given me a great idea.

Let's try something.

Try making a wiggly wool picture,

made from an old scarf or jumper that you don't want any more.

BOTH: Let's make it!

But first, we need somewhere to make it.

Some gloopy PVA glue and a flowerpot.

That's just what I'm looking for.

So, Mimi, we're nearly ready, but we also need some googly eyes.

You can find these in an arts and crafts shop.

I'm back. Here we are.

Here are our googly eyes.

This is what we're going to make, Mimi.

It's a wonderful wiggly wool picture of a sheep in a field.

-Baa!

-Fantastic!

-So, are you ready, Mimi?

-Yes.

-Brilliant.

Are you ready? Great, let's get making.

The first thing we'll do is bring in a piece of card for our background.

We'll stick on some blue felt to our card, using gloopy glue.

You'll need some green felt for your grass.

And some scissors. But we must be careful because scissors are...

-Sharp.

-That's right, they are.

Cut some wiggly edges to make grassy hills.

Now we're ready to stick down our green grass.

Can you help me glue it, Mimi?

Well done. Right, let's glue this piece on first.

Stick the other piece on top, like this.

Now we need to cut out our sheep's face and legs.

Carefully cut out two rectangle shapes for the legs,

and a circle shape with ears for the face,

from a different colour of felt. Now it's time to wiggle our wool.

If, like me, you want to use an old woolly scarf for this picture,

perhaps one you've just grown out of,

always remember to ask permission from an adult first.

So, very carefully, make a snip into the edge of it, here, like this.

This will help you pull out your wiggly wool.

Here it comes.

If you haven't got an old scarf, you can use any old woolly clothes.

When you've pulled out lots of wiggly wool,

you can start to wrap it round a large flowerpot.

We must be careful not to wrap it too tight.

Cut the end off the wool. Now we can put these to one side,

cos we're going to put a big splodge of gloopy glue

in the middle of our picture, where we want our sheep to go.

Now we can push our rectangle shapes into the glue first.

Then we carefully slide the wool off the pot and onto the picture...

..and push it into the glue.

We can stick on the sheep's face now.

Can you put some gloopy glue on there, please, Mimi?

There's the face.

Now, our sheep needs eyes, so...

..here are our googly eyes. Can you put some gloopy glue on these?

Oh, well done.

There we go, two googly eyes.

You can even add a circle of yellow felt...

And this will be our sun. Fantastic!

I think we'll call her Baa-bara!

Hey, it's minute-make time. I'm on my way.

Here I am.

-It's minute-make time, everyone!

-Yay!

Today we're going to make something brilliant to wear on your head.

No, it's not a woolly hat. It's one of these.

Oh...that's better. It's a hilarious hat hair band.

Great, isn't it?

To make one of these, you will need...

a pair of scissors, a glue stick,

a black pen, some card,

a plastic hair band and a piece of ribbon.

Do you think it's possible to make one of these in just one minute?

ALL: No way!

Oh, I think I can.

I'm going to have to be quick but don't worry,

I'll remind you how to do it at the end. Are you ready?

Yes!

Great, let's make it in a minute.

Three, two, one...

Start the clock.

First we've got to draw a hat shape.

We do that by drawing a small, thin rectangle

and then a larger rectangle on top of that.

I'm going to cut that shape out.

I must be careful, because scissors are...

-ALL: SHARP!

-That's right.

I'm going as quick as I can.

When you do this, you can be a bit more careful.

There we go. Across there.

And then down that side.

And just a bit over there as well. Move those bits

to the side. I need to put on some glue,

here at the side. There and there, like that.

Then we get our bit of ribbon.

I put this on top by sticking it at the side there.

And at the side there.

That should be perfect.

There we go. If I turn it over...

-Quick! Quick!

-..I have a great hat shape.

Put some glue on the plastic hair band.

If I stick it on, we've got ourselves

a hat hair band!

And if you've got more than a minute,

you can make all sorts of hat hair bands!

Ooh! How about this one?!

With feathers and a sparkly jewel!

Ooh! Or this one! It's a round hat, with its own fantastic flower!

Or you could even do this pointy clown hat hair band,

with a pipe cleaner trim and pompoms!

Let's go back to the beginning and take another look!

Take a piece of card, draw a hat shape and cut it out.

Stick a piece of ribbon on the hat above the brim to make a band.

Glue the hat to the head band and your hat head band is finished!

built a BEAUTIFUL big castle.

And they all lived happily ever after! The end!

It was only a short story.

But it's given me a big idea! I think we should build a big castle!

-Will you help me?

let's make it!

Now, we're going to make a big castle, aren't we?

So what should our castle look like?

I think it should be a grey, black colour.

Oh, interesting!

What sort of shapes do you see on a castle?

-Round and things on the top like rectangles.

-Like rectangles?

Ooh, yes, what about those, Asim? What about those?

-Will they make good bricks?

-Yeah.

-Show me.

Will they make good bricks. Brilliant!

-I think we're ready to start making, aren't we?!

Let's go! Come on! Lead the way, Freya.

We're making bricks for our castle!

A big castle needs big towers!

Our castle's going to be on a big, green hill!

We're having great fun making our BIG castle!

So why don't you have a go making a smaller one!

Try making a creative and colourful castle.

Make it, play with it, have fun with it!

You'll need a small box, a round pot,

a tube, scissors,

paint and a brush, some glue,

newspaper and a paper plate,

some coloured paper and a black pen.

Carefully, cut the box and the tube, like this.

Bring in the round pot and cover everything in gloopy glue.

Then cover it all in newspaper pieces,

and leave it to dry.

Now stick all the containers on to a coloured paper plate.

Then paint bricks onto your castle.

You can even paint a drawbridge to keep everybody out.

When that's dry, you can decorate the towers

with paper squares, like this.

Why not glue window shapes on as well.

And add some extra detail with a black pen!

Now your fantastic castle is ready to play with!

What a super, small castle!

But I wonder how our big castle's coming on?

Ah, yes! Excellent painting, everyone!

This is going to be the drawbridge.

We're making vine for our castle.

And let's make a sunny background!
