It sounds like we need to find something to paint with.

A rubber's only good for rubbing out pencil lines.

Let's try something.

Try printing paint with a rubber to make a wonderful wall

for a crazy creature to hide behind.

But first, we need somewhere to make it.

Now, we also need a paper plate. I know, let's ask Scraps for help.

What I was actually after was a paper plate.

And we also need a black pen and a glue stick.

So, this is what we're going to make today, Jake.

It's a wonderful wall with a crazy creature behind it.

Brilliant. Let's get making.

We're going to start with the wall,

so let's put down a strip of coloured paper.

Now we'll make the brick shapes, and you can help me with this bit.

Can you squirt some paint onto a paper plate? There we go.

Thank you.

Brilliant. And now, if we dip the rubber into the paint,

we can print it onto the paper... to make brick shapes.

You can use whatever colour paper and paint you like.

-Would you like a go, Jake?

-Yeah.

-Good. Your turn. Here we go.

I'll slide it over to you. Start printing.

Just remember to completely cover the page in brick prints,

then leave it to dry.

Perfect. But we're going to put our wall to one side for now

because we're going to draw a crazy creature to hide behind it.

You can draw whatever you like, but we're going to do a purple creature

with yellow hands, white eyes

and orange circle shapes for the antennae.

So, let's draw all of our crazy creature shapes.

And then we need to cut them out.

-But we need to be careful because scissors are...

-Sharp!

That's right!

Now we can bring in a big piece of background paper

that's much bigger than your wall.

Then arrange all your pieces.

Let's start first with our creature's head. There it is.

And the eyes. Let's put those in.

Then the wall goes on top.

And when everything's in place, we can start gluing it down.

And if I get a black pen, Jake,

let's fill in some lines to finish the antennae

and also, we can add some black dots in the middle of the white circles

to make pupils in the eyes.

There! We've finished. And if you really enjoyed that,

there are lots of other ideas you could try, too.

How about an elephant peeking over a wall?

Or even a king and queen at the top of their castle?

out in the Makermobile.

Hey! It's minute-make time. I'm on my way!

We've arrived!

-It's minute-make time, everyone!

And today, we're going to make a pet robot.

-Look at him! He's fantastic.

-HE BLEEPS

Now, to make one of these, you will need...

some sticky tape,

a small box,

a pipe cleaner,

some tin foil,

some coloured stickers,

two plastic lids,

a glue stick and a pen.

Now, do you think it's possible to make this pet robot

in just one minute?

-ALL: No way!

-Well, let's find out.

I'm going to have to be very quick.

But don't worry - I'll remind you how to do it at the end.

-Are you ready?

-ALL: Yes!

Are you ready? Great! Let's make it in a minute.

-ALL: Three, two, one...

-Start the clock!

Let's get our tin foil and we're going to

wrap up our small box

a bit like a present.

There we go, let's wrap it up.

Push it all to the back like that.

Now we're going to get our pipe cleaner

and stick that on there.

There we go. These are going to be

the arms of the robot.

Let's turn him over and start putting on our stickers.

Let's put that one there

and let's put these here. There we go.

We've got a red one. Let's put that one there as well.

And then this green one on as well.

These white stickers are going to be the eyes,

so let's draw on a dot there and one there.

Let's stick them at the top of our robot.

This is going to be close for time!

I need to put some glue on these lids.

These are going to be the robot's feet.

Oh! Here we go!

If I stick these on to the bottom,

I've made a pet robot!

-Phew! I made it! Just in time.

But if you've got more than a minute,

you can make all sorts of pet robots.

How about this one, made with a different shaped box?

It's got a lid nose and a pipe cleaner mouth.

Or even this pretty pet robot with wiggly pipe cleaner hair

and a heart-shaped sticker.

Pet robots. Why don't you have a go? Here's a reminder of how to do it.

Let's go back to the beginning and take another look.

Wrap up a small box in tin foil,

stick a pipe cleaner on the back for arms,

add stickers for the details and eyes like this,

then stick on plastic lids for feet

and your pet robot is finished!

I think we should make a really big jungle that we can explore.

let's make it!

So, then, everyone, we're going to make a really big jungle.

-What should our jungle look like?

-Lots of grass.

This is going to be a super snake.

We're having great fun making our big jungle.

Why don't you try making a small jungle animal at home?

Try making a cheeky hanging monkey.

Make it, play with it, have fun with it.

To make one, you will need a piece of cardboard, a pen,

sticky tape, scissors, fun fur, coloured paper,

a bottle top, a glue stick and some stickers.

Start by drawing a wiggly snake shape on a piece of cardboard.

Then carefully cut this out.

Next, draw a big circle on the back of some fun fur.

And draw two smaller circles on a piece of coloured paper, like this.

Now draw one more circle that's even smaller

and carefully cut the circles out.

Now glue the fun fur circle to the middle of the wiggly snake shape.

Then glue on the smaller paper circle

with a large paper circle on top, like this.

Cut the last paper circle in half to make the monkey's ears.

Glue them into place behind the fun fur.

And then add stickers for the monkey's eyes...

..nose and mouth.

You can add more details with a pen.

Make as many monkeys as you like in the same way,

and you can hook them all together for a great effect.

Ha-ha! What cheeky little monkeys!

But how's our big jungle coming along?

Oh, fantastic! What are we painting, everyone?

-ALL: Leaves!

-Lovely. Let me help.

Oh, great! You're making the lion. But he needs a tongue, though.

Let's stick it on, Hamsa, go on. There you go. Fantastic.

Let's put it in place. Oh, yes. Really taking shape now.

Now, let's make the jungle for our jungle animals.
