Today, I've brought my travelling fete to West Bromwich,

and I'm just off out to go and meet some tiddlers.

ALL: Meeting the veggies.

They're exotic, those flowers. Tell you what...

Those little mites have got everywhere!

I have to go. I can hear those veggies. They're up to something.

-ALL: Yes!

Ooh! Now, veggies, what's going on? I heard a commotion.

-Mr Bloom, you know that tiny suitcase the Wee MacGregors have?

-Yes.

I unpacked it a while ago. Why? What's in there?

It's their pet fleas.

They wanted to bring them to one of the fetes.

Look, I said no fleas at any of these fetes.

What would we do if everyone starts itching and scratching?

Not everyone, only you, Mr Bloom.

They only like you, not veggies.

Hmm. Where are those cheeky radishes, eh?

Hey, you Wee MacGregors, you've opened that suitcase.

I asked you not to do that, otherwise those fleas,

they'll be on me any second. Then I won't be able to get them off.

Oh! I'm going to have them for the rest of the day, these fleas!

-I've heard that giants roam this place.

You know, I just can't stop itching, me.

Well, wobble my wellies! Look at these cabbages, they're huge.

Hoo-hoo! You know what I'd like to see?

I'd like to see a normal-sized cabbage

next to one of these beauties.

-I've got one, Mr Bloom.

Just the job. Well done, Paris.

In fact, this cabbage is about the same size as Margaret, isn't it?

Look how teensy-weensy it is next to this great whopper.

This one's almost as big as Compo.

Hey, I think you might be right there, Joan. Ho-ho!

It goes to show, tiddlers, if you grow big,

you need lots of space around you.

I wish Colin could see this.

Because then he would realise that his theme park, Beanland,

is way too big.

Mr Bloom, can we go and look for more big vegetables?

I've heard that Paris and Charlie's Grandpa Philip

knows everything about giant veg.

-And how do you get them so big?

-It's all in the seeds.

Wow! Your seeds are so much bigger than the ones I have.

That's a normal marrow seed and this is my giant.

Usually, the biggest and the fattest is the best seed.

You've done a great job sorting through these seeds.

I wonder how big these will grow when they're planted?

Ooh, well, this fennel is feeling fairly small.

Just remember, all vegetables come in different shapes and sizes.

Right, down it goes. Agh! One giant marrow.

20? Jumping jingleberries.

You know, I think that's more than you, Charlie. He-he!

-Shall we see? Come on, let's get this marrow moved.

OK, lift him off.

Now, Charlie, up we pop. He-he. What does it say now?

-Um, 14.

-14?!

Mr Bloom, what does that mean?

Well, it means that that ginormous marrow is a lot heavier

than little Charlie here.

-We had a struggle with that marrow, didn't we?

-We did.

Look at Charlie. I can lift Charlie up all by myself!

-Hurray!

-I see, Mr Bloom.

You can pick up Charlie on your own,

but you need lots of help to pick up the marrow.

-So the marrow weighs more than Charlie.

-That's right.

-It's been great to meet you, Philip.

-And you, yes.

We will tell Colin that big things need a lot of hard work.

-They sure do.

Wow, we've seen some gigantic vegetables.

Back at my fete, I can see some tiddlers

who are looking at things that are really teeny-tiny.

-I've got a woodlouse.

-You've got a woodlouse?

Oh, tiddlers, if you look through the magnifying glass,

does that make the bugs look bigger?

-ALL: Yes.

-It's enormous.

-Does looking at these mini beasties make you feel bigger?

-ALL: Yes.

Can I have them back? We need to take them to the woodland

where they came from. ALL: Thank you.

Oh, Colin! Mr Bloom said Beanland was too big.

I'm not sure that adding a monorail in the shape of a courgette

-is really going to help.

Have you ever been to anywhere bigger than my fete?

I went to the fair and it had a big wheel and a ride

and it goes bouncing up and down and it goes around on horses.

-I've been to a big funfair.

A funfair? Hey, they're really big.

The reason I ask is that Colin, he wants to build a theme park,

-don't you, Colin?

Tiddlers, Colin has got these brilliant plans for Beanland,

the first runner bean theme park.

Exciting rides, lovely gardens.

But the thing is, Beanland's enormous

and there isn't enough space here to build it.

Oh! Disappointed bean.

But I'm sure there's something we can do.

COMPO WHISTLES

Look, Compo's showing us what we've done today.

-Maybe that'll help.

-We saw some giant vegetables.

Look at that humongous cabbage.

It was so much bigger than the normal one that Paris had.

Oh, a massive marrow!

That marrow, that was heavier than our friend Charlie.

Philip's vegetables were very big and they needed lots of space.

Ah! Look, tiddlers.

Compo's showing us things that are going outside. What can you see?

CHARLIE: The mini beasts are really small.

When you look through the magnifying glass, mini beasts look bigger.

Yes, you're right, they are really small, but they look massive.

Tickle my tomatoes, eh? What a wonderfully wild world we live in.

Some things can be absolutely huge

and other things can be really teeny-tiny.

Hey, if we don't have room to build a giant Beanland theme park,

we can still build a...

ALL: A tiny one.

Not for us, though, but for the mini beasts.

We build Beanland!

Of course we can. We just need something to build it on.

We could ask Compo for some bits and pieces.

ALL: That's a good idea.

All our friends outside can feed him.

The soil is going to make the foundations of Beanland.

Do you want to choose a plant?

Where's it going to go? In the corner.

That's right. Dig a little hole. Good girl.

Oh, Delmar, what are you making?

A roller coaster.

Oh, it's a wiggly-squiggly roller coaster.

Jolly good. They'll love that, won't they, the mini beasts?

Look at this. I think that what we've made

looks exactly like Colin's original plan for Beanland.
