Morning, guys, Ricky here with your Tuesday Newsround.

Coming up: The plan to help out puffins.

And a very unusual wedding.

Wimbledon has started.

And Andy Murray got over worries about his sore hip

to win his opening match.

The reigning champ beat Alexander Bublik in under two hours

and will play Germany's Dustin Brown in Round Two.

And it was a pretty easy day for British number one

Johanna Konta, who got through to the next round

where she'll play Donna Vekic.

Now, did you know that nearly 40,000 tennis fans came

through the turnstiles here at Wimbledon on

the first day alone?

That's a lot!

So we caught up with a few of them to find out what they were

looking forward to.

It's Wimbledon.

It's one of the biggest events in the world.

I'm very excited to be here at Wimbledon because I haven't

met many players and I've only seen them on TV.

It's really amazing to be here.

I've never been here before.

It's really different than I imagined in my head.

I like Nadal and Federer.

They are really good and they're really graceful

when they hit their shots.

I really, really want to see Andy Murray because he is ranked

number one in the world and I can't wait to see him play.

It's amazing because he's the person I look up to when I play tennis

and I just want to be like when I'm older.

I know I'm going to see the Nadal match on Court One.

I'm going to see a bit of the Venus Williams match.

I saw Federer over there warming up.

What?!

Everyone loves puffins.

But things haven't been so great for these guys lately.

Across the UK, their numbers are down and now there's a threat

they could disappear altogether.

Whitney has been to find out more.

What do we know about puffins?

They are small, brilliant swimmers.

They are often paired together for life.

How sweet.

I'm here in the very windy Ilse of Mull, as you can see by my hair,

to take that boat out to the island of Lunga to see some.

Dave, who is a bird expert in Mull, is going to help me find

out more about puffins.

It has been a long journey but we finally made it.

Check this out.

They are everywhere.

They are so cute.

Hello.

Just behind us is some beautiful birds.

Apart from being beautiful, what is so special about them?

These puffins are now in serious trouble.

They are on what you call the red list.

They could go extinct.

One in ten of all puffins come from the UK so we have got that

responsibility to look after them.

Elsewhere, places like Iceland and parts of northern Scotland,

the puffin colonies have gone and that is what we are

really worried about.

Why are they declining in other parts of the UK?

What we think is the biggest decline is to do with global warming

and climate change.

These birds have evolved to catch particular types of fish

in particular temperatures of seas and as the temperature of the sea

is rising those fish are moving further away and out of reach

of the puffins.

What can we do in order to protect these puffins?

The RSPB has launched Project Puffin and it is trying to get people

to take photographs of the puffins as they come in with

the fish that they catch.

They catch things like sand eels.

With that we can work out why there is a problem in other

parts of their range.

Why do you love them so much?

They are just fantastic little characters, aren't they?

Just the fact that they look so happy and secure

and yet we know deep down now that they are in trouble.

We could really help this bird and keep it looking bright

and cheerful and happy and go on enjoying it for years to come.

I think it is time to leave these funny and beautiful birds

in peace but honestly, despite the weather, I could sit

here and watch them all day.

Next up, on to US President Donald Trump, who is being criticised again

for what he's put on social media.

Watch this.

Believe it or not, this is Donald Trump.

The US President has put this video on social media.

It's an old clip of him appearing on a wrestling TV show but with CNN

over the face of his opponent.

CNN is a news organisation in America that he has been

in a long argument with.

Fake News, CNN, fake.

He calls them fake news and says they make up

false stories about him.

Loads of people, including some in his own party,

say this sort of thing is really bad behaviour for a President

and he shouldn't be doing it but his supporters say they are just

jokes and they really like his style.

Donald Trump just says he is being a modern President

by using social media in this way.

In Mexico, where this happened over the weekend.

The mayor of San Pedro Huamelula married a crocodile.

Now, this is a tradition that dates back hundreds of years.

It's part of a festival to celebrate the town's patron saint.

The reptile bride, dressed in white with a flower crown on its head,

is taken around the town to music before the ceremony takes place.

I hope there were no crocodile tears.
