Hi, guys, it's Newsround,

it's Sunday and I'm Martin.

Coming up:

Liverpool sell one of their best

players for a record amount.

And how the mega snow in America

is affecting animals!

Let's kick off with some

big sports stories.

First up, football and some

big transfer news.

Barcelona are going to sign

Liverpool's Brazilian

midfielder Philippe Coutinho

in a £142 million deal,

which woud be the most expensive

transfer in the Premier League

and the second biggest

in the world ever.

And the other person

leaving his club is Stoke

manager Mark Hughes.

His team have been doing badly

in the Premier League,

but he was sacked yesterday

after his team were knocked out

of the FA Cup by Coventry

who are three leagues below them.

Ashes now, and England have survived

overnight in Australia...

Just.

They're still 210 runs behind

with one more day's play

left in the series,

which looks like it's going to end

in a 4-0 win for Australia.

Today's play saw the first brothers

to make a century each

in the same innings since 2001.

Australia's Shaun and Mitchell Marsh

both hitting hundreds.

Plans to create a new

Northern Forest stretching

accross the UK from Liverpool

to Hull have been announced.

The plan is to plant

thousands of trees along a belt

taking in the cities of Manchester,

Leeds and Bradford.

It will see new woods planted

near towns and river

valleys liable to flooding.

The Woodland Trust is running

the project, which will cost

£500 million over 25 years.

The East Coast of North

America is shivering

in a record-breaking freeze.

It comes after a massive

snow storm that reached

as far south as Florida.

Temperatures there are

forecast to fall below

minus 29 Celsius.

These girls in the city

Boston sent us this.

Hi, Newsround, this is Boston,

USA, and it's so cold.

We have had 12 and a

half inches of snow.

It was awesome!

We got the day off school.

We read books, baked banana

bread and watched TV.

After the snowstorm,

the snowploughs cleared the roads

and my mum and dad cleared the snow

in front of our house.

Bye from Boston!

So the weather has been a real

surprise - not just for humans,

but for animals as well.

Watch this.

Animals that live in parts

of America that are never affected

by the cold have been pretty

surprised by what happened.

Check out these iguana.

They've been stunned by the cold.

Cold-blooded animals

are used to warm climates.

Now they can't get warm at all.

Don't worry though,

they weren't hurt.

Once the temperature gets back

to around 15 degrees,

their blood will warm up

and they will start

to function properly.

And over in Texas, 500 sea turtles

have had to be rescued.

They all came to shore

after the water left them freezing.

They will be kept cosy at a recovery

centre until they are well

enough to go back to sea.

But not all animals have

seen the chilly sight.

These guys are loving the snow -

check out this horse rolling around.

And this dog loves to go sledging

around so he carried his own sledge

to the top and down he goes!

Next to some animals who are used

to the snow - penguins!

These three newly born

penguins made their debut

at the The Harbin International Ice

and Snow Festival

in China on Friday.

The penguin chicks are all covered

with wispy tufts of hair

and the oldest of the bunch was less

than 60 days old.

But being young didn't stop

them wanting to explore.

Getting out boosts their cold

resistance and also lets

visiting tourists meet them.

The wedding of the year will be

held at Windsor Castle.

If WWE is your thing,

you're in luck.

They're touring the UK in May

with the stars of Raw

and Smackdown competing in front

of thousands of fans.

Rak-Su!

Music wise, we can look forward

to by Factor winners Rak-Su

releasing their debut album,

and there's a few rumours flying

around that Beyonce might also be

set to deliver new music in 2018.
