back to the moon.

We love tinsel.

First up.

US President Donald Trump

wants to send American

astronauts back to the moon.

And maybe even beyond!

The President has signed new plans

for Nasa to make a base on the moon

that could lead to an eventual

mission to mars.

It marks an important step in

returning American astronauts to the

Moon since 1972.

We will establish a

foundation for an eventual mission

to Mars and perhaps too many worlds

beyond.

Next up.

It stars John Cena, one of the most

famous WWE superstars of all time.

And it's just been nominated for one

of the biggest movie

awards, a Golden Globe.

The animated film Ferdinand tells

the story of a giant

bull with a big heart.

Martin went to find out more.

What was the experience

like for you?

It was great, it wasn't

difficult by any means.

It was fun to make.

The animators are so imaginative.

They have a child's imagination

which is brilliant.

You can create magic

if you never grow up.

So, it was fun to work

with those folks.

When you look at me, you think big.

You are ginormous.

I can't wait to show

you to the rest of the guys,

they're going to fertilise the yard.

John Cena is the voice of Ferdinand.

People would recognise him

from being a WWE wrestler.

Why was he perfect for the role?

When he did the voice of Ferdinand,

the minute he delivered the lines,

I knew he was Ferdinand.

Not because I was looking at this

big guy, like a big Ferdinand.

It was because he really felt it.

Can you help me out?

This is the beautiful horsey side

and that is the stinky bull side.

Scottish people are very proud

of the fact, you know

gives to young kids out there?

Ah, just be happy with who you are.

If you are passionate

about something that

everyone else thinks

is uncool, who cares?

Follow your passion and be

proud of who you are.

It's OK you may like different

things because we're all different.

Now, it's being called Milkgate.

But what happened between

Man City and Man United

after their match on Sunday?

There were reports of a big

row between both teams,

after United manager Jose Mourinho

got annoyed with how City

were celebrating their win.

Milk and water were thrown

at Mourinho, and City coach

Mikel Arteta was injured

after being hit by a plastic bottle.

Now, the FA, who are in charge

of English football,

have told both teams

to explain what happened.

Naughty.

Now, I imagine loads

of you will have decorated your

houses for Christmas with trees

and lights and all

sorts of sparkly bits!

But did you ever wonder

how tinsel is made?

We went to find out.

Hi, Newsround, welcome

to the factory where

it is Christmas every day.

This is Festive Productions, the

biggest tinsel factory in the UK.

We make 12 million metres

of tinsel every single year.

That is enough to wrap all the way

around the moon and you'll

still have two million

metres left over.

Phew.

Right, let's see how tinsel is made.

First off, let's choose the colours.

Let's make some

Newsround-coloured tinsel.

Next, we load the machines

with the reels, and switch it on.

The machine cuts the foil up

to make it nice and frilly.

Then, we add some wire

to make it stronger.

That happens down in there.

Finally, it goes down to the tub

where it's all spun together

like a candy floss machine.

The machine stops,

and your tinsel is ready.

yesterday you were sending

in your brilliant snow pictures.

But check this one out!

Why build a snowman

when an igloo is so much better?

It took Benjamin Crutch eight

hours to make the igloo,

using 500 snow bricks.

He built it in the garden and it

looks like everybody

enjoyed it - even the dog.
