Good morning, I'm Hayley and I've got your morning Newsround.

:00:00.:00:00.

The helpers on hand at London's Fire.

:00:00.:00:14.

First, the fire brigade are still working to make

:00:15.:00:29.

a tower block that caught fire yesterday safe.

:00:30.:00:32.

The Grenfell Tower in west London caught fire early on Wednesday

:00:33.:00:35.

morning and experts are still trying to find out what happened.

:00:36.:00:39.

People from all over London have been offering help and comfort

:00:40.:00:42.

to those who've lost everything in the fire.

:00:43.:00:45.

Newsround's been speaking to some of them.

:00:46.:00:53.

I came here with some food for them and some old toys I don't play with

:00:54.:01:00.

any more. I feel bad for them because there they are going to be

:01:01.:01:03.

homeless but I'm actually kind of happy that people have been bringing

:01:04.:01:08.

lots of food and toys and stuff for the babies and, like, the kids. So

:01:09.:01:10.

I'm proud of that. I've got some fruit,

:01:11.:01:11.

I've got some food, I went to the church and I started giving

:01:12.:01:18.

out some free food, like,

:01:19.:01:20.

for the homeless people. I came down here because I felt

:01:21.:01:28.

sorry for the people who died got injured. I have clothes in the car

:01:29.:01:34.

that I was going to give to the people who have lost theirs. Later

:01:35.:01:38.

on, I'm going to get some of my things from home, and going to

:01:39.:01:41.

donate... There are people that don't have everything anymore. It is

:01:42.:01:45.

good that people are coming together to help the people in need.

:01:46.:01:47.

And for more on this story, or for advice if you are upset

:01:48.:01:50.

Next to Australia, where scientists are trying to save a unique animal

:01:51.:01:54.

There are worries the creatures are now endangered.

:01:55.:01:59.

But to confirm that, researchers need help from people

:02:00.:02:01.

who live nearby and some amazing facial recognition software.

:02:02.:02:05.

Not far off the coast of Sydney in Australia is what's known

:02:06.:02:13.

People diving here will find strange and beautiful creatures living

:02:14.:02:20.

The locals call these guys weedies, otherwise known

:02:21.:02:26.

Native to the coast around Australia, they are related to sea

:02:27.:02:31.

horses and spend their time drifting in the water, blending

:02:32.:02:37.

The problem is, these colourful creatures are becoming harder

:02:38.:02:41.

and harder to spot and not just because of their tether camouflage.

:02:42.:02:47.

and harder to spot and not just because of their clever camouflage.

:02:48.:02:50.

This is the best side in Sydney, you can still see them alive.

:02:51.:02:53.

Other sides, particularly on the north side of Sydney,

:02:54.:02:55.

where they used to be a regular occurrence, you're lucky to find one

:02:56.:02:58.

Marine biologists have come up with a clever plan to work out how

:02:59.:03:03.

They are asking divers to snap a picture of

:03:04.:03:10.

The researchers are then using a kind of facial recognition

:03:11.:03:16.

software to identify each fish's unique patterns.

:03:17.:03:18.

Every time they identifyy a new weedy, they give it a name

:03:19.:03:21.

to help keep track of it, kind of like Facebook for weedies.

:03:22.:03:26.

And it will tell us if it is David or Greg or Alicia, because every

:03:27.:03:34.

single new sea dragon that we have gets a name so we can follow

:03:35.:03:38.

Weedy Sea Dragons are classified as near-threatened

:03:39.:03:40.

but the scientists reckon this research could provide enough info

:03:41.:03:44.

to have them retested as endangered, which is more serious.

:03:45.:03:51.

Scientists believe climate change could be a big part

:03:52.:03:53.

They say rising sea temperatures are killing the seaweed,

:03:54.:03:57.

Once we lose them, we will never get them back.

:03:58.:04:03.

They were here hundreds of thousands of years ago.

:04:04.:04:06.

With our impact, losing them would be really sad.

:04:07.:04:10.

So if you find yourself diving in Australia,

:04:11.:04:13.

snap a picture to make sure there are plenty of little weedies

:04:14.:04:17.

Two British Champions met on the court yesterday

:04:18.:04:26.

It was just for fun but world tennis number one Andy Murray and world

:04:27.:04:32.

heavyweight boxing champ Antony Joshua met up

:04:33.:04:36.

Andy will start defending his Wimbledon title

:04:37.:04:41.

I think it'll be a bit tougher than that, Andy.

:04:42.:04:46.

That's all from me, Newsround's back right

:04:47.:04:48.

Don't forget to head online for all of the rest of the day's stories.

:04:49.:05:10.

It's Valentine's Day on Class Dismissed next.

:05:11.:05:12.

First, we're celebrating Music Day here on CBBC.

:05:13.:05:16.
