Good morning, it's Thursday, I'm Jenny and this is Newsround. | :00:00. | :00:00.
Coming up, Birmingham gets the perfect new arrival. | :00:00. | :00:11.
And wakeboarders in Germany hit some unusual spots. | :00:12. | :00:23.
With Wimbledon starting in just a few days, let's begin with a bit | :00:24. | :00:26.
World number one Andy Murray has been named as the top seed in | :00:27. | :00:32.
That means he's the favourite to win. | :00:33. | :00:36.
It would be his third title at the All-England club. | :00:37. | :00:39.
In the women's competition, British number one Jo Konta | :00:40. | :00:42.
The 19-time world and Olympic champion Usain Bolt made his first | :00:43. | :00:48.
appearance of the season in Europe last night, in the Czech | :00:49. | :00:51.
And the Jamaican world record holder won in the 100 metres. | :00:52. | :00:56.
He's getting ready for the World Championships | :00:57. | :00:59.
in London in August, after which he'll retire. | :01:00. | :01:05.
I'm just getting into my running now from training, but I'll be fine. | :01:06. | :01:08.
When I get checked out by my doctor, the coach | :01:09. | :01:12.
should be fine, so I'm in no worries. | :01:13. | :01:17.
We've got something pretty special to show you now. | :01:18. | :01:20.
This is mega rare film of a massive explosion on the surface of the sun. | :01:21. | :01:25.
It was filmed by a US satellite that's investigating weather | :01:26. | :01:31.
Next up, just before last Christmas, we told you about some very special | :01:32. | :01:38.
penguins that travelled to a new home in Birmingham. | :01:39. | :01:40.
Well, now there's been another new arrival. | :01:41. | :01:42.
A baby penguin chick cuddles up to his mum and dad at | :01:43. | :01:49.
They might look pretty chilled out, but his parents took an | :01:50. | :01:53.
This group of gentoo penguins used to live in | :01:54. | :01:58.
places like Denmark, Canada and New Zealand, | :01:59. | :02:02.
but they were moved to their new | :02:03. | :02:04.
home in Birmingham as part of a worldwide breeding programme. | :02:05. | :02:07.
The penguins had to be moved across the world in a | :02:08. | :02:12.
Well, that was last year, and now, this little cutie is the first baby | :02:13. | :02:18.
Keepers are hoping for some brothers and sisters to | :02:19. | :02:23.
The super gross collections of fat that join together, | :02:24. | :02:32.
Well, now they've gone from yuck to useful, | :02:33. | :02:38.
and are being turned into something a lot more valuable. | :02:39. | :02:41.
Deep below our feet in the sewers underground, something nasty lurks. | :02:42. | :02:49.
When people pour fat and grease from cooking down the drain, the fat | :02:50. | :02:52.
clumps together to create massive horrible fatbergs. | :02:53. | :02:57.
Some fatbergs are huge and can create big problems, | :02:58. | :03:02.
costing water companies a lot of money to clear away. | :03:03. | :03:05.
That's about four feet deep down there. | :03:06. | :03:08.
But now, this sewer sludge is about to be | :03:09. | :03:11.
changed into something really valuable. | :03:12. | :03:12.
A fuel company is going around sucking up the fatbergs. | :03:13. | :03:16.
They are then taken to a special processing plant, where they can be | :03:17. | :03:19.
turned into a type of car fuel called bio diesel. | :03:20. | :03:24.
So we've collected a fatberg from a water | :03:25. | :03:26.
The vehicle has travelled down, he's come to site, he's now | :03:27. | :03:30.
There's a lot of solid in this one, so actually he's using the | :03:31. | :03:34.
This is where we receive all those raw materials to turn into biofuel. | :03:35. | :03:41.
The fat gets heated, pumped and filtered, | :03:42. | :03:45.
So we've removed all of the solids, all of the liquids and we're | :03:46. | :03:52.
left with a really clean oil that looks a little bit like this. | :03:53. | :03:55.
The bio diesel is way cleaner for the | :03:56. | :04:03.
environment than regular diesel, and this plant can make up | :04:04. | :04:07.
But are there enough slimy fatbergs around? | :04:08. | :04:13.
As part of the trial, we've been taking about 30 | :04:14. | :04:17.
That's 30 tonnes of fatbergs from just Birmingham every week. | :04:18. | :04:24.
I don't know whether to be disgusted or | :04:25. | :04:25.
So, from yuk to useful, fatbergs are being turned into | :04:26. | :04:31.
Next, when you're taking part in sport - it's always important | :04:32. | :04:39.
The dog is going to give us the two most | :04:40. | :04:53.
important words to start a | :04:54. | :04:54.
Whilst most pooches are busy going for walks, playing fetch | :04:55. | :05:02.
or eating biscuits, this four-legged dude is busy working at his local | :05:03. | :05:05.
Jake is so barking mad about his local baseball team, the | :05:06. | :05:12.
Fort Wayne TinCaps, that he volunteers to give | :05:13. | :05:14.
water to the players during the | :05:15. | :05:17.
Whenever he makes an appearance, the crowd hit the "woof". | :05:18. | :05:22.
Before you know it, he'll be handing out hot dogs. | :05:23. | :05:26.
Finally, what do you do if you're an international cable | :05:27. | :05:33.
Search for new fancy spots to wakeboard, of course! | :05:34. | :05:36.
For two weeks, six of the best international cable wakeboarders | :05:37. | :05:39.
slid, jumped and flipped in search of unusual places to explore. | :05:40. | :05:43.
They travelled 2,000 kilometres, with spectacular obstacles and some | :05:44. | :05:56.
That is all, Newsround is back at 4:20pm. | :05:57. | :06:01. |
