This is Newsround.

First, lets go to the

sports stories today.

Amazing news for women's

football this morning.

England made it three wins out

of three in World Cup qualifying

as they thrashed

Kazakhstan 5-0 last night,

Nikita Parris scoring

the third goal here.

They're second in their group

after leaders Wales beat Bosnia 1-0.

Northern Ireland won

3-1 against Slovakia.

Manchester United beat Watford 4-2,

Jesse Lingard here with the pick

of the goals, to narrow the gap

on rivals City to five points

at the top of the Premier League.

Talking of goals,

look at this one from

Leicester's Riyad Mahrez

that helped the former

champions beat Tottenham 2-1.

Next, it's pretty hard

to do a backflip,

but imagine managing

it in a wheelchair.

Well, Lily Rice is the first woman

in the UK to do just that!

She tells us all about how

she managed this awesome trick.

I'm Lily Rice, I'm 13 years

old, and I ride WCMX.

WCMX stands for

wheelchair motocross.

It involves riding

a wheelchair in a skatepark.

You ride the wheelchair

like a BMXer would ride a BMX,

or a skateboarder would ride

a skateboard, or a scooter

would ride a scooter.

I started riding early March,

and we just, like, stayed on a

few banks, which are basically

like small hills going up and down.

But as my confidence increased,

I started to try bigger ramps,

and then eventually did a small

quarter pipe,

which is about two feet.

And I felt so happy when I did that.

But now, looking back

on that, I think that's

nothing compared to

what I'm doing now.

The backflip wasn't really a target,

I kind of just arrived at

the skatepark and I was like,

"I want to try a backflip".

Practised into a foam pit first,

which is like a big

ramp going up into a pit

of foam, basically.

It kind of describes itself.

Then I moved onto a resi ramp,

which is a normal ramp made for

practising tricks.

Once I landed it, I was,

like, really happy.

I was ecstatic and I screamed.

It is different to what

other people are doing.

I rock up to the skate park,

and people are like,

"Why is there a wheelchair here?"

Then I go onto one of the ramps,

and they are like,

"Oh, my God".

I'd like to try a front flip

now that I can do a backflip.

No woman has ever done

a front flip, so I

would be the first woman to do that.

Skateboarding is going to

the Olympics next year, and I really

hope WCMX can go to

the Paralympics as well.

I want to inspire others and show

people that you can do

whatever you want.

You just have to put

your mind to it.

Now it's time for some racing.

But not the kind of race

you see every day -

this is racing with a twist.

In one corner, we've got

the world's fastest mammal,

and in the other, a Formula E car!

This is going to be epic.

On your marks, get set, go!

They are sleek,

slender, and stealthy.

But cheetahs are definitely

known for their speed.

They can reach up to 60

mph in three seconds,

which, funnily enough,

is the same as a Formula E car.

So, who would win a race?

It's time to find out.

That was awesome, and so much closer

than I thought it would be!

But there is a serious side to this.

There are now only 7,000

cheetahs left in the wild.

They are one of the ten most

endangered species on our planet,

and unless something changes,

they could be in big trouble.

By organising the race,

the owner of Formula E wanted to

highlight the terrible effects

climate change is having on this

magnificent animal, and ways

to better protect the environment,

including the use of electric cars.

An entire street in Hampshire has

been decorated with festive

lights by a man who really loves

Christmas.

He started persuading every

one of his neighbours

to decorate their homes

13 years ago.

This year, hundreds of people turned

up to see the switch-on.

So far, around £50,000 has

been raised for charity,

and the lights attract

thousands of people

in the run-up to Christmas.
