Sometimes you make art that's worth celebrating.

The Grandmaster certainly does.

Now, THAT'S a showbiz entrance.

Step number ten to enlightenment.

Confetti-spreading vessels for much celebration!

Grab a paper party cup.

Push out the end...

..and tear it off.

Get a balloon and tie a knot in the end.

Cut the end of the balloon.

Stretch it. Careful, dudes, you don't want to - ugh!

Ow.

Stretch the balloon over the cup.

Get some strips of coloured card and cut them into tiny bits.

There you go, dudes. Party central!

here's a quick art tip of how to draw someone dancing.

So, we can start with her face.

Carry it to the side, pop her ear in.

Hair's going to be...all flowing around like this.

Nice big happy face, cos you're happy when you're dancing.

And then she's going to be all bunched up like this,

sort of pushed to the side.

So, not a neck here, not from this perspective.

And she's throwing her weight out one way at the top.

And her legs are going to be flicking out to the other side.

So, one leg up...

and the other one's slightly further down.

And then, cos she's all full of energy and jumping about,

going to add a couple of motion lines.

It's so she's really feeling the music...

Going to pop in a couple of musical notes.

There you go. Another quick art tip.

You'll need to keep a lid on your excitement, I'm afraid,

because we're not doing that today.

I was wondering if you could make something out of this scarf.

Erm...no. It's a bit of a woolly idea.

Yeah.

Hey. What have these guys got?

-Ricky, can you make art with an old cardboard tube?

-Sure, I can.

So, what are your names?

-I'm Molly.

-And I'm Lily Mae.

-Lovely to meet you, guys.

I'll just go and grab some stuff.

-I've got a little plate of glue.

-Mm-hm.

Gold and yellow paint. Got some red paper, and...

my trusty cardboard tube.

So, I'm going to start by painting my tube yellow,

and I'm going to do the inside first,

cos that's just a bit easier to hold on to it.

I've been entered into a football competition.

Do you guys like sports?

-I like gymnastics.

-I like basketball more.

What I'm making now has something to do with the competition.

What do you think it could be?

A medal?

It could be something along those lines.

-Trophy?

-Ah, yes. It's a trophy, but unlike any you've seen before.

OK, now I need that tube to dry.

I'm going to give it a quick ninja blow.

There we go. So, I'm going to cut my cardboard tube into 1cm strips.

So, now I've got all my little rings cut, I'm going

to start shaping them.

The first one's easy. That's a leaf shape.

Second one's pretty easy as well.

Just going to roll it in on itself to create a nice spiral.

I'm going to create a V. Pretty simple.

This one's going to be like a three-point star,

and I'm going to hold that together with a little bit of glue.

For the final shape I'm going to need, I'm going

to cut one of the rings open

and I'm going to roll it down one way on one side, half the way.

And I'm going to turn it over

and roll the other side the opposite way.

'Just experiment with your shapes.'

Now, I'm going to need lots of these to make my picture,

so I'm going to use my ninja skills.

W-o-o-o-w!

So, with all these shapes, I can start putting together my picture.

I'm just going to lay out the main leaf shapes.

Now I'm just going to just going to dip the ends of them

in some PVA glue.

You don't need much glue cos there's only a thin

side of which it sticks to.

Now I'm using the different shapes that I've made to make

different parts of my picture.

And they're all good for building up the image.

Now I'm going to put in my little heart shapes.

There we go. If you guys had to play a family football match,

what positions would you play?

-Goalie.

-Goalie.

-Both goalies?

-Yeah.

-Mm-hm.

Once you've filled up the main space, you can

really get going nice and quick on this.

This technique is called quilling.

I've got my little S shapes, and these are going to be confetti.

Cos, of course, you're celebrating if you've got a trophy.

So, I've got some gold paint here,

and I'm just going to dip the end of my brush in it

and dust the tops of the shapes to give it a lovely metallic shine.

OK, guys.
