-A dinosaur!

That's right. And what do you know about dinosaurs?

They've got big feet and big teeth.

And big, drooling mouths.

And they lay eggs.

Dinosaurs lived a long time ago

but now all that's left of them are old bones and fossils.

What's a fossil?

Fossils are what's left of animals and plants buried for so long

that the ground has turned to stone around them.

I found all these in the village.

Mr Pringle, Mr Pringle! Did you find any dinosaur bones?

Huh! Well, no.

But there WERE once dinosaurs walking the fields of Greendale.
